I have full sympatico with John's heartfelt concerns and am grateful for Carl's great clarity and empathy - he is so wonderfully circumspect then alternatively pungently incisive in identifying the fault lines. I love how he brought in the delusional state that is inherent in Anorexia-Bulaemia - the distortion of body imaging which flatly and emphatically refutes what the eye of all that others see. It is of course that externals of all kinds, dispatched by wokers to protect and garner the governers their wealth and continuance at the cost of depriving cultural growth norms that have had relevance to the governed. Such woke views and policies are brutal lies and/or distortions to confound and are aimed to destroy all critics no matter who they may be and what good works have been of long-standing and held as 'sacred' by the polity. You oldies always say that they're born in a time when material wealth is the most prolific of all time as if that's something we should be grateful for. THAT is the cause of many a young person so dissatisfied with their plot in life that the true human connections; community, tribe, parental approved relationship courting, male and female dynamics, are just not there and there is absolutely no hope for them to be there. In fact, you'll find that in most of these situations the person had pretty much all the stuff one could ask for. And now we have tyrannical govt placing them under needless house arrest so they can't even see what little number of friends they actually have in this terrible society.
You're creating a strawman when you try to equate the lives of our parents and their parents as if that time period had no social suffering, while comparing it to today and our youth and adults which suffer socially. I can assure you without any doubt that there was and will be social suffering no matter what time period. Transgenderism only covers less than 3% of the world's population. To answer your question of how you cope with it.....you research the science and the scientists involved in this subject. When you assert that "the elites" are responsible for whatever you think they're responsible for....you sound like a conspiracy theorist. So I don't label you incorrectly, can you explain exactly what you meant by that?
