I love this video so much. It's wonderful to watch such a lovely couple enjoy their baby daughter. Gosh she looks so much like her father. And also she has a personality of her mother with sweetness all around her. And a smile as captivated from her father. I've come to the conclusion I would rather remember them through this video and a few similar then the tragic loss of such a wonderful man husband and father and son. God bless all of them and may her life shower her with abundance.
kayper54 and also so sad that he’s not here to see what a beautiful woman, inside and out, KATIA has become.... But I think Sergei can see both his wife and his daughter. It’s them who can’t see him right now...😢. But they will be reunited again one day.
Patricia Smith can you just imagine what a joyful day that will be..???!! Oh how I love to imagine it. I LOVE to see Sergei’s face when he was with Daria all those years ago - no words can describe it. They had such very little time together as that beautiful family of three....SO unfair...😢. But one day....talk about a joyful reunion!!💞💞
They went back for a second olympic gold for Daria? When "training for the olympics meant time away from Daria and winning meant more time away . . . ." What hypocrisy. They clearly did it for themselves.
Sergei even says in an interview it was Katya that wanted to do 2nd Olympics! It was in Russian and had interpretation! He was laughing of course but think serious!
Marcia Ray : Really, it was Katia who wanted to go back for another Olympics? In her book, ‘My Sergei, A Love Story’, she said he waited a year before mentioning his desire to try and win another gold medal. Apparently, he had made a small mistake in the previous Olympics, and because he was a perfectionist, he wanted to go back and erase the mistake.
What a horrific thing to say. You know nothing about the former Soviet Union and how poor they would have been if they had not won those two Olympic medals and joined Stars on Ice in America. Get a grip and grow up.
Do you even understand the pressure of trying to support a child in a country that is collapsing? Of course not. You’re just an ignorant American who thinks someone who grew up in Soviet Russia with no freedom or money is as selfish as you are. I’m sorry but comments like that make me furious. You’ve obviously never had to worry about supporting a child.
