I LOVE that Reid gets along with the family so well that he got a piece of Morgan's mother's birthday cake and is happy to hear that Derek talks about him with his sisters!! He is definitely Morgan's little brother!!
"What're you even doing in my mother's house?" "They asked me." "Not really." Love Dr.Reid so much, dude is one my fav's 2nd to Gideon, kinda wish he stuck around for deeper seasons; Gideon I mean.
I wish they would've at least mentioned him more or had him guest star for a few seasons after he left.. I would've loved to see him and rossi together
It definitely hurts me to see how "innocent" and naive Derek's mom is about Carl Buford. I like her and she is a great mom, the best parent in this TV show in my opinion, but still, she didn't know what was happening to her son and saw Buford as a hero and like a father to Derek, and that really hurts.
Isn't that what the team does in other episodes? They start profiling everyone in town and sometimes they get it wrong. Of course the team is going to defend Morgan because they know him, but when you are investigating a crime, you have to follow the profile without bias. The detective was following the profile he was given, unfortunately, he was being bias as well.
@@strangeroamer3219 the difference is they don’t look at a case with one person in mind and try to take pieces of the profile to make it fit that person like what Gordinsky is doing here. They start with the profile and look for someone who fits it.
I really love Gideon's reaction to Hotch, when he called Morgan a suspect by mistake. The camera is looking at Hotch, but we can see Gideon's head turn immediately after Hotch called Morgan a suspect, with a serious look on his face like "You better not say that again" Great acting all around!
I have discovered most tv shows have one character whose hair changes each season. That way you can tell which season it is by looking at that characters hairstyle.
Not really. He's trying to find a child killer and the evidence put Morgan in the crosshairs. If the Detective had a different suspect, you wouldn't have hated him this much. You're being biased.
KhAoz The man himself is being biased, he’s known him as a kid. As they stated in the film, and the detective had not liked him. The detective was giving a attitude that shouldn’t have been there at the first place, if he was not biased based off the actions years ago.
Am I the only one who thinks Sarah, Derek's older sister, the one with curly hair, does know something about what Carl was doing to her brother? The face she makes while her mom talks about that man doesn't give out love or anything like that for Carl at all, at least in my opinion. I know Derek said he never told anyone, but maybe she saw or heard something that made her find this out.
It is very likely. I have a baby brother we were(still are) very close. When he was in the Army, he was assaulted and I found him close to suicide-he begged me never to tell our parents so I kept his secret
@@bellerain381Oh, God! I'm very sorry that happened to your brother. I have a younger brother too and we sometimes fight, but I love him so much and am very protective of him.
Ummm, okay, I know how this episode ends, but they're kind of doing everything wrong... if one of their coworkers becomes a suspect in a case, they should be professional enough to treat it objectively and not just go "OH BUT WE KNOW HIM SO WELL HE'S OUR FRIEND IT COULDN'T BE HIM". Especially the "oh, but he loves kids!" That means nothing. Tons of child molestors get away with everything they do because no one believes they're capable of it. Tons of criminals in general.
it would be funny, them doing that could reid do this. could he build yep, does he know poision, sure, can he plan 5 moves ahead, sure. shit there not much reid cant do if he want to.
It makes perfect sense. you've got an idiot copper, with a grudge against Morgan, hasn't got two brain cells to rub together, he's been getting nowhere with this case, that's got to feel pretty shitty, plus morgan is everything he's not. He's young, successful, widely travelled, in shape and attractive to women. It makes perfect sense.
That and as well as the detective, objectively has a decent reason to. In previous clips, Derek found the first body. Second body turns up, Derek is just leaving town, third body turns up, derek was last seen with him. If this was Dexter 70% sure he would be on a table
@@trevorschack7077 he didn’t have a decent reason. Derek only found the body because he was playing around with some friends and their football went over the fence. Gordinsky had it out for Derek who was a child at the time. The profile pointed more towards Carl than Derek, but he only wanted to look at the pieces that pointed to Derek.
Sometimes it's being objective even if you believe in something and are prepared for the fact that there may indeed be truth within it. If not then it's a theory down and no longer neccesary to be considered. However being so narrow minded that everything is offensive serves what purpose? If there's a person who can think.of something.. there's usually someone/s with the capability to carry it out.
And right there.. because of a criminal record there's a biase. Those who don't believe a person can ever change. See id look at it as hmm he has a criminal record.. he has experience and knowledge that someone who doesn't .. hasn't. He understands and has multilayers of understanding the different people and aspects of a situation.. he knows who the potential realistic threats are.. and they aren't always in the criminal world. As many within the judicial system feel safe within their roles and yet can be very blindsided to their own bullshit. There are more than one side to any story. It's known people have issues and that can give them a hard on so to speak for specific people. It could be they remind them of someone within their own past.. personality conflicts are very very common afterall. Just as the reason we empathise with certain people over others. Yet few ever question their own motives. They believe in accountability for others but not themselves. This is what makes the mind that pulls things apart at times tiring. Trying to be fair to each person until it's a case of fuck you all. Im tired and your selfish sons of bitches. Though that's not aimed at men. Just an expression. What is it that saying.. if someone farts and calls it out they say a fox smells its own scent first.. so everyone stays silent holding their breath wanting to vomit
There is a mistake in the scenes, the black daughter as she is standing to the right of her mother, should block the camera's view, and we should not be able to see Prentis. They thought I wouldn't notice it. Hehe
filysunray Carl Buford was known as Morgan's mentor and football coach at the local youth center by Morgan's family and those cops who had it out for Morgan. Buford was secretly Morgan's child molester and the man who really murdered Damien Walters, the boy the cops thought was killed by Morgan. Buford killed that boy because he knew Buford was a child molester and Buford couldn't take the chance that the boy would tell anyone, especially Morgan.
She is not really mean. Her younger brother has been arrested for no reason at all, and I would be just as mad as she is if my little brother had been arrested for something he hadn't done.
@@BruteStrength99 You are right, but in such a situation, it's kind of a normal reaction for people to take their anger out on the first person they come across, even though that person most likely has nothing to do with the thing they are mad about.
