Last time I changed my battery in 2017 the starter stopped working and I had to take it back to get it reprogram and they charged me $50 but this time it took me about 50sec to reset it and get it to work again. This is actually the pairing procedure for the Automate 7115A as well. I’ve driven myself crazy multiple times trying to figure this out but you’ve got the best video going on how to do this. It’s pretty damn simple at the end of the day once you hear, those clicks, hit the remote button and you’re good to go. There is no LED indicator or anything like other videos might lead you to believe. Thank you so much for making this video. 👍
Very concise and helpful video, thank you. Took me 3 tries but I figured it out. I believe the "clicks" are the parking lights flashing on; I did this in my garage and could see the lights on the walls. After the 5-turn sequence, it flashes once when a fob is successfully registered and flashes twice when the registration window is closed. When registering, make sure to only _push_ the fob to register (instead of holding it like you would to start the car). Compustar also recommends keeping the doors/trunk shut and the interior lights off if you're having difficulty. (My fob model is 1BR-AM for reference.)

This worked for me after I figured out I needed to have my truck door open for it to work. You didn't mention I needed to have my door open. But my common sense kicked in and did it as you showed in the video.

Hi. I have this same system. I can remote start and stop my vehicle but it will not lock and unlock my doors. Should I be able to that with this system after programming?
