I've said it before, but it bears repeating: You're really one of the nicest dudes out there in the social media fitness sphere. I can only think of the late John Meadows. You two, in my mind, stand head and toes above anyone else. Obviously the content is fantastic too ^^
I've been following you for years and can finally afford to pay you. Just bought this program, wish I could do more, thank you for everything you've done for me.
On Wave 3 of Mass Builder right now. This will be the program I try next. The tip about going from a 7 day to a 10 day upper/lower split was pure gold. It has already helped my workout intensity and recovery. Plus I have extra days for cardio, accessory work, and skill practice.
Started with the wave 1 block 1 leg workout yesterday.. holy moly!!!! Toast!!! Added in sled pulls/pushes at the end just because.. Thanks for the program.
As a master's strongman, I appreciate that your video and audio quality is the same as 6 years ago. It makes me feel like I'm not aging. Seriously tho, thanks for putting this out.
Thank you again, Brian. I'm 47 and recovery has actually become an issue in my training. I tried to ignore but that did no good. I'll definitely be picking this up.
At 61 I thought I should try something a little different and found this one. It is great workout and I'm having a blast with it. On the good days I can push the intensity up to 10 and on the bad days I still get a quality workout in. We'll see if the shorter duration helps relieve some of the joint pain that comes with age.
Thank you for dropping this, Brian! I am eyeballing this for the end of the summer, as my wife and I are expecting our first child, and I’m told that sleep will suffer massively. This sounds like a great way to maintain progress without destroying the nervous system.
That glare at :46! 😂 This was an insta-buy even without that Brian, and this video was the icing on the cake. Thank you for all that you do, especially for us “Masters” of the Universe lol
Looking forward to this one. I’ve ran all your programs. Love them all! I’m running your Conjugate program now. With BJJ first thing in the morning and then a couple hours later hitting that program has been fatiguing me a little more than normal. I’m 42, this will be a good change! 💪🏼
Evan if i dont run it right away Ile always buy your programs brian!!! There brutally fantastic 🤣 And the amount of free things you do for the strength family its the least we can do 😁
Ran your Powerbuilder program and had great results for my last competition, so I know this will be great as well. If yall haven't bought a program from Brian, DO IT NOW!
Definitely a bargain for everything you provide in this program. Purchased it a few days ago and am 2 days in. I thank you. However, speaking only for myself at 58 years old, it's a bit much. I wasn't able to complete all the sets. I was hoping it would be geared more towards folks my age. Heartrate jumped to over 170 BPM! I suppose I'll need to only do 3 or 4 rounds, or less sets total until I can work up to the full workouts. Again, thank you for providing this program at such a great price.
I don't know about you, but I'm glad I'm not a child of Brian's... to get that icy cold stare when forgetting to take out the trash would be enough to not forget!
Hi Brian! Thanks so much for putting this program out - just purchased it last night. I had a question about working up to your top set - do you have a general recommendation of how you would approach this? E.g., take 3 sets, use 5% jumps, etc. Thank you!
Will definitely be getting this one. I loved your powerbuilder programme, but this will really fit my time availability at the moment- thanks Brian, you're a legend :)
Hi Brian, great video and great program too! I took almost all of your programs, I’m currently at wave 6 of your Darkhorse and it is awesome!! I’m looking forward to buy this one as an option to run when my job gets too stressful 😉 Last year you announced you were working ok a Massbuilder new version with sandbags. Is it still in pipeline? Thank you!!!
Thanks for all the free info Brian! I bought your sandbag conditioning ebook and your bodyweight ebook too! Love your stuff and your intensity. I’m probably going to pick up the 45 masters too because I’m really short on time right now (work and a baby), but I don’t have a barbell (I live in an appartment), only kettlebells, bands and a sandbag, so I’m wondering if I can tweak the program to work with those, but the percentages are going to be tough to get right… do you have any advice? Should I just wing it?
I just picked up the program and have one quick clarifying question. During Wave 3 there are days that say "GOAL: Top Set is at least 95% of Your 1RM - OR SET A NEW PR!" but the Volume Block still notes that the percentages are NOT of our 1RM but for the top set from above. Assuming we set a 1RM that day, what do are those percentages in relation to? The alternative option which is 95%? I only ask because 80-85% of a very new 1RM seems like a lot but what do I know? Thanks for everything you do for the fitness community!
That is a great question! I would stick with the 95 percentile or drop back to 80% of the new one rep maximum. Honestly, though, on days that I said new PR’s, my volume is very minimal. I would take the win, hit some assistance and celebrate!
Can someone tell me how many sets for the strength block or does it matter ? I guess the main goal is to hit for example 85% of 1rm for 3-4 reps ( but how many sets )
Just come back to say I *did* get the program, and it is a BEAST. I've been going one day to the next, not worrying about 'weeks,' and I'm on day 17 rn. Feeling good and strong.
