Had this same issue on my 2001 CL Type S. I'm not as comfortable with soldering so I just replaced it with a replacement from O'Reillys. I daily drive mine and haven't had an issue again in a year now. By the way, I really enjoy these videos you put out.
Main Relay for me (yes, formally known as "Main Relay") Under/Behind the steering wheel. A real bitch to reach. It does a full systems check before it allows the car to start. Mine was defective but not visually. You couldn't see it. When the temperature got hot, the metal expanded on the circuit board and it became defective. Once the temperature went back down, the contacts reconnected and it started again. There are aftermarket ones that replace all of the old analog electronics on the component with a single IC chip. WAAAY more reliable. Did the cruise control module as well as it flaked out every now again as well and now it has no more problems.
Anyone have any common knowledge about a Cl that will crank but not start. I’ve changed fuel pump, fuel pump housing, fuel pump relay, fuel pump fuse and the car still won’t run, it’s getting fuel thoUgh, I’ve disconnected the lines and turned the key on fuel come out, with that being said It’ll run for about 7 to 8 seconds if I spray starter fluid but won’t stay running any help will be greatly appreciated
If you haven't already, start with measuring the psi at the engine pre and post fuel regulator. If you have the correct book pressure then it might be injectors
@@collinbrown1387 you need to purchase a fuel pressure gauge. Harbor freight has them inexpensively. Then you connect it in line on the fuel system pre and post fuel pressure regulator with the supplied connection from the kit. I have a 98 acura cl, each spring this happens last 2 springs I changed the master or main fuel relay first under the dash, I've heard from a mechanic they had lazy fuel pumps in them, keep gas above half a tank,
