MAP01 Narthex - 00:00 MAP02 Baptistry Of Blood - 03:55 MAP03 Shrine To Slith - 15:20 MAP04 Basilica To Slith - 26:00 Slith is a four level long WAD styled on the Plutonia Experiment together with some DOOM II Hell On Earth vibes to it, clearly first two levels are a little bit more difficult Entryway and Underhalls with Plutonia's Hell vibe. First just look at the textures, techbase has been replaced with the setting similar to the Deimos Moonbase, hell is visible pretty much in every place, even water has been changed with burning lava, so no more Underhalls without damage. These Entryway and Underhalls remakes received of course a bigger number of monsters to defeat, more secrets to explore (I dare to say secrets are pretty crucial to survive) and annoying ambushes since the beginning, pretty harsh stuff. The third level with a similar start to one of the Plutonia's maps (I forgot its name), you begin already attacked by multiple Pinkies, Shotgunners, Cacodemons and even Baron Of Hell in the distance, try to provoke infighting between them. And yes, infighting is pretty crucial in this WAD because you are ambushed/trapped suddenly with doors shut behind you pretty often while playing, the amount of monsters to fight is so large that infighting is a great thing to do. Add to this monsters from Project Brutality like Overlords, Volcubi, Flesh Wizards and Demon Tech Troopers and you can enter a world of hurt, designer pointed out that Plutonia Experiment was his inspiration when creating the WAD. As for the final level of this WAD... prepare for something short (with 3 easy secrets) but quite intensive because there is between 120 to 130 monsters to eliminate in the Basilica, of course infighting is your best friend here. Another thing is the last final boss, a Spider Mastermind in the similar fashion to the Thy Flesh Consumed final level but backed with Arch-Vile behind, Revenants, Hell Knights in a way more difficult arena, a quite tough fight when not prepared. This is one of the very few WADs I played where there is exactly no Cyberdemon to fight against, but in some cases I think it would be an overkill or the Cyberdemon alone would mop most of the monsters from map instead of you.

Here's the story, Doom Guy's earth was lost to the demons wile he was battling hell pre divinity machine, the earth in eternal and 2016 is a different time line the doom 3 time line. That would explain why there is a dead simple clone in 2016
Blame me all you want for that change. I made Dragon's Breath weaker because a lot of people said it was OP, and I added back the self damage from the flames. You're really going to rage even harder now that the Dragon's Breath explosion is going to actually self damage the player like the Dragon's Breath shells in Dox's addon
I support this. Every playthru I've seen that uses this mod switched to Dragon's Breath by default. Not only was it kinda boring, but the constant flash of the shell's explosion got annoying to watch real fast.
