And never forget: In the end, it's just personal preference. I can only give you some advices and you check if it works for you. :) It's also possible that controller support differs from system to system - I experienced this in other games.

For anyone that bought this game without a stering wheel, this video should seriously have been in the game as an introduction to the controls, its just that important. I actually refunded the game because the controls were so frustrating, bought the game again and with these settings it suddenly feels amazing. It feels slightly too heavy at times but overall, fantastic video! It will never be perfect without a wheel, but with these settings the game instantly turned from very frustrating into very satisfying.

So after switching to the control scheme you showed I immediately saw a huge difference. Car is more responsive, I feel like I have control and it's much crispier than the default. Thank you man :)

Thanks for these super settings! Updated the game for a new level for me, now I don't have to fight with twitchy controls and I can push the cars harder and with more precision. I wouldn't ever had thought that such a high steering sensitivity could work but it does! Great job!

Significantly improved my gameplay thank you very much. If people are still struggling, it must the the game physics. Overall the game is much better than the first series.

Your settings really helped, thanks. I play with DS4, and just had to put steering sensitivity down to 35. Works like a charm now.

Great video! Tried these settings with Xbox 360 Pad and it felt way better immediately on the first try. Only had to apply a small steering deadzone on my pad.

Most of the questions about Project Cars 2 seem to be about the controller use in the game...most gamers I know use the gamepad...I initially had trouble with PC 1 with handling..more recently I have gone back to it as I got bored with Forza and they seemed to have added patches or updates add that with a video on settings and it is greatly improved the feel..I like it more at the moment as you have a better career mode, progression and Practice and qualifying giving the racing a more authentic feel!

Really happy to hear this game works well with a pad! I found controller was okay with the first one in gt3 cars but once your car span it wouldn't register any inputs of countersteering.

Finally I was able to eliminate the twitchtiness in my steering. I entered these settings and immediately felt like a better driver. Thanks a lot!!!!

Thanks a lot & great video! I just started with PC2 and your settings are an excellent start point, much better than default ones. Maybe some adjustments here and there but that works just fine as it is (on XBOX 1 X with standard gamepad)

See I tried playing career mode. The game said nah. You gonna spin out on every corner. Fishtail going in a straight line. Opposite lock doesn’t work.Correcting oversteer doesn’t work.Slowing down to stop understeer dosent work. Time for a patch. Big patch.

Just started playing Project Cars 2 the other day and while I haven't had trouble with the default controller settings on RWD cars, FWD cars were a nightmare to drive before your settings! Now I can actually drive that Clio without it spinning if I just look at it wrong!

Thank you, but this might sound very silly but I'm struggling with cornering, I have to go really slow to make a decent turn, and in the cockpit the driver doesn't turn the steering wheel to its full turn only a little bit. I don't know if this how a sim is supposed to be but its frustrating and hard. I'm using the xbox one controller. Thanks

Hi, I use steering sensitivity at 85, otherwise it seems that the cars doesn't turn enought in deep tight corners, or am I doing something wrong?? I Use the tilt movement of the controller. Thanks

Is there a written review / preview of Project Cars 2 for Xbox One yet? Im interested in how it performs on a "classic" Xbox One, non-S or X-version of the console. Is Forza 7 the better choice? To be honest Im kind of...tired of the Forza Series, since I think the edge of racing is not there. Nor the sounds or the feeling of speed etc. Is PC2 better? Any patch about to be released?

Hello! I have a big problem with XBox Controller here. At Project Cars Pagani Edition there is the "XBox Controller Analog" on the skin, the steering then super out. On "Xbox Controller Standard" it is impassable. And now at Project Cars 2 there is no analog! But it is so impassable! It's way too choppy around the straight-line track, because that probably interprets digital. What to do?

...It seems what people were really needing was having ALL the assists on, full, especially #SteeringAssist, apart from Braking Assist (definitely OFF). Here's what fixes most cars/events: Steering Assistance - Yes Braking Assistance - No Driving Assists - Full Anti-Lock Brakes - High Stability Control - On Traction Control - High Steering Deadzone - 0 Steering Sensitivity - 0 Throttle Deadzone - 0 Throttle Sensitivity - 0 Brake Deadzone - 0 Brake Sensitivity - 100 Clutch Deadzone - 0 Clutch Sensitivity - 0 Speed Sensitivity - 100 Controller Damping - 75 Controller Vibration - 100 Minimum Shift Time - 0 RPM/Gear Display - Yes The steering Speed Sensitivity, at 100, is sometimes too high for slow cars/bends, and you have massive #UnderSteer and can't go round normal corners - needs to be 80 or less, maybe, sometimes - it's this setting which is broken in the game. Sometimes Steering Sensitivity is broken too, so might need putting up to 25. ...Some cars/tracks/event styles, like Rallycross, are just plain broken though, with you being unable to steer, accelerate, or brake! You'll also need to put Gear Up on Square, Gear Down on X, and Handbrake on Circle, leaving Triangle for KERS (if needed?). Change View - R1, Look Behind - L1, Headlights - L3, Wipers - R3. Right Stick to look around and D-pad for ICM (In-Car Management computer) or, alternatively, for turning On/Off the Driving Assists, or anything else you need. 👍 6.9/10 - yet still the best driving game for #PS4 😂😭.
