#garden #birdwatching #birdfeeder
Hi Friends!
My dream of making a greenery bird treat swag did not quite turn out the way I had envisioned but “plan b” worked just fine!
I really enjoy watching and feeding the birds in the winter time. I do not put out my bird feeders during the summer months because I want the birds to feed on the “bad bugs” in my gardens!
I like to make my own bird feed consisting of Black Oil Sunflower Seeds mixed with Meal Worms. Mixing some Thistle seed in too is a good idea in the Springtime for the Gold Finch.
Some of the birds that visit here are:
Cardinals, Gold and Purple Finch, Nut Hatch, Tufted Titmouse, Wrens, House Sparrows, Swallows, Eastern Bluebird, Blue Indigo, Wood Peckers, Bluejay, Doves and more!
