Hi Ire, I've got an interview for a Project Executive role for a tech company on Monday. Without your videos, I wouldn't have taken the step to jump into Project Management yet. So I owe you a thank you.
Heyy and thank you ☺️☺️☺️ I don’t really think I’ll have a full video worth to talk about really. I don’t have a lot of experience with PMO. But I’ll try to see what can be done :)
Hi, Ire! 😊Thank you so much! You inspired me to start PM course. I really like your videos. Very interesting, relevant and easy to understand. Also, I am taking fundamental Google PM course on Coursera as you recommended. Hopefully I can get my first PM role soon❤
Wonderful videos as always! I'd love for you to do an in depth video on each course! I am a Creative PM without any courses and want to move into the tech world but know these courses will likely help more me get in :)
Hey there lovely . I’ll try to see if I can get round to that. I haven’t done all of the courses so I’ll need to research it and it could take a while.
Hi Ire, Happy New Year. Thanks for all your videos. I would like to have a consultation with you. I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks
Happy new Year! 🎉 thanks for this video. What do you recommend for working with tech people with burnout or reintegrating from burnout? We are getting a lot of these cases and it is tricky to work with them I do not how to approach or chase them Thanks
Hey! You are welcome. If I’m honest, I’m not too sure. That sounds more like a mental health thing, so I wouldn’t know how to advise on this. Really sorry I couldn’t be more helpful
Hi - I am working towards transitioning into a PM role and appreciate all your advice - Have you ever heard of IT career switch and is it something you would recommend?
Is it possible to get a PM role straight after getting a certificate, if the program has real projects that student’s complete during the course/program?
@seektruth5750 I don’t think you’re asking the right question. Anything is possible, but will it mean you will get a role no, it may guarantee your chances. But probs not by much if it isn’t a formal project anyways
Hey, there are no hard requirements to get into pm ( ie there isn’t a particular qualification / degree needed, it’s not like studying medicine to be a doctor) it’s more about how you can demonstrate your skills and knowledge are appropriate for the role. If you think that’s enough with your business admin degree then you should apply, for most ppl they need more specific pm knowledge and experience
Hey there! Thanks for watching! If you fill in the form in the performpm consulting page, the request will get to me :) you can find this here www.pitolinmotion.com/services
Hey there! And thanks for watching. The project intake process will change from organisation to organisation really … so I can’t say in my experience there is one process - in short. There will be a pipeline of a bunch of projects that have been requested by the customer. This will include the requirements . The PM will write a proposal on how this projects can be delivered, deliverables , costs timelines etc , what will be in scope and out of scope. Then the head of projects (or similar) will prioritise the projects, and dish them out to project managers to deliver. Hope that helps
