The mental image of your kid just zeroing in on that tasty, tasty chocolate bronzer, ready for a good ol' chomp, made me chuckle. I always wondered if it tasted as good as it smelled, and now I will wonder no longer 😂. I know what you mean about the body lotion - it's summer here, and I'm way more likely to use it now than in winter, when I just want to get dressed as quickly as possible.
That’s exactly right! Winter you don’t want to be exposed for very long, but in summer your legs are out anyway so it’s easy to remember to apply lotions.
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 can we just take a moment to say how stunning you look today! Not that you don't other times, I think the earrings being so big and bold and bright just really sway it today xx
PAN UPDATE!!!! you are so much fun to see doing this kind of a project. I think it's your willfullness to actually see a product be done with that makes me so inspired.
I sometimes mix it with SPF/moisturizers when applying it, but I don’t like mixing it in the pot because it can ruin the stability of the product. Bit risky
Hi Kat, I made a passing comment on another RU-vidr's video in the US mentioning Marc Jacobs and she told me they are coming back, being sold thru Net-a-porter. I don't know if thats US only or international, but I found it interesting because I really liked a lot of Marc Jacobs products. You've made great progress considering you're a busy mum.
I agree with you about the bronzer. I started using Tarte exposed as my bronzer and I feel like it looks much more like it belongs on my face with my coloring. Also I’ve been watching you forever and I have a craving to go watch some makeup breakups. What a fun time that was. I miss watching you guys destroy things in the name of “science” 🤣
I think I have that/did have that, so I will try to compare it if I can! From memory it’s a bit heavier looking on the skin and looks less natural than the mac one.
I heard Marc Jacobs Beauty is coming back 🙏 hopefully he relaunches those fineliners. I'm about to pan my last backup and I can't find a formula dupe. I'm also close to panning Calx from Clionadh 😭 too bad they discontinued most of their circle pan shades.
Yeah I saw that news too. It was based on a coming soon landing page on net-a-porter. I’m not sure if that’s convincing evidence yet, but hopefully it’s right!
Good luck with that kvd foundation! I bought one during the Sephora VIB sale in fall 2020 and finally cracked it open to use a few months back, but it smelled sooo rank I had to throw it out 😭
Have you compared the Mac blush to Physicians Formula Butter Blushes? Some of them have a luminesce that I think might be close to what you're looking for.
I have tried a few in the past and from memory they aren’t as glowy. FF is hard to get now, they used to be stocked in a popular store so I used to try their products, but they pulled out and are now pretty much impossible to get in store in Australia
The way you described Stereo Rose sounds like it will be hard to dupe! My Warm Soul was panned with Back to MAC, but planning on replacing it during the next good MAC sale.
Have you tried Kjaer Weis the inner glow cream blush. It makes a healthy beautiful effect on the cheeks. When i layered it looks it rosy lightly red. Perhaps its an alternative for your mac blush!
No I haven’t, but I generally don’t like cream blushes on a daily basis because they take more effort to apply and they often lift/break down my makeup faster. The beauty of this one is that you could apply it in your sleep!
@@KitschSnitch ok it is simple a powder but this blush is a thicker cream and drys on. i dabbing it in two layers this formula is really different to other creams and looks like an inner glow. I love that you really use and use up the things you love and like your series. Thank you 🥰
Have you ever tried to swatch the Nabla Skin Glazing blushes in comparison to the Mac SR? They kind of remind me to that at least from the look of it. I do not own SR, but the sheen seems similar
I’ve re-pressed hundreds of items on the makeup breakup and it’s very hard to replicate the stability of the original product, that’s just the nature of re-pressing powders.
