Glad you w joyed the video. The MRS is a fun platform. I’m looking to continue playing w different setups and see which I like the best. Thx for watching and commenting. Pls subscribe. -AJ
Video Update: the Gates 170 deg F thermostat no longer comes w a gasket. Also, I highly recommend using the 2ZZ thermostat housing or cover bc it is aluminum and maintains its flatness better.
Great timing with the video. I just started getting some higher engine temps and suspect I need to do all of this lol I’m kind of disappointed to see that Koyorad doesn’t put the bleed off nipple to hook the other hose to on their radiator. Love their craftsmanship. I’m thinking there might be an existing solution to replicate the hose hook up on the front. Or I might just go with the Mishimoto
Thx for watching and commenting Frank. U don’t need the hose hook up on the radiator. Just follow what I did. Loosen the upper plug, bleed the air and re-torque. E Z peezy. Hope all is well. Thx again AJ
Definitely doable, but having the right tools makes all the difference and keeps my stress levels down. Thx for watching and commenting. Pls subscribe and stay tuned for more MR2 Spyder content. Thx AJ
@@phoneroni thx for the sub 👊. Description updated. Note, I really like this bleed hose bc it’s super flexible and clear, but the ID is slightly too small… it does fit tho.
It's the BL-5000EXXT, but it is slightly too long. Originally, I purchased the shortest quick jack, but it wasn't long enough to reach the lifting pads on my Integra so I returned it. So, I bought the BL-5000EXT for versatility bc it can fit my S2000 and Integra. I recommend measuring the distance between the lifting pads on your vehicle and then check the specs on the Quick Jack website so you choose the right one.
@@RelentlessRacingAJ interesting, I did measure and figured the shortest one would work but then I'd be pretty limited in what I could use. Do the pucks just go past the actual jack points on the pinch welds some or do you have something to bring them more inboard?
@@gabriels.713 that's exactly what happened to me... my Integra was too long for the shortest quick jack. Yes, the pucks are too far apart. Yes, I run this way, but there is risk bc I could mess up the MRS fenders.
OE drop in and 20-30% better cooling. Project Silver was running full sessions in 99-101 deg F temps at Buttonwillow and the Streets of Willow. Also, I use Koyorad in my S2000 and Integra as well. Finally, Koyorad’s build quality is unmatched. Thx for watching and commenting. Pls subscribe. Thx AJ
Sorry, I do not. I’m switching out the trans in my yellow MRS this week… just waiting on a new trans jack and under hoist stands arriving on mon or tues.
