Happy to share with you all an easy-to-adapt system to effectively teach residents in a General Ophthalmology OPD. I call it 'The Project TU' (TU = Teaching Unit), where the idea is to upgrade one of the general OPD cubicles into a post-grad coaching space.
This five-minute video tells us on:
1. Why we need to place a simple whiteboard beside the slit-lamp.
2. Why 'Problem-Based Blended Learning' is the future of medical education.
3. Why short clinical tutorings in OPD are better than a long boring lecture in the classroom.
4. Why residents' feedback is vital for improving the quality of education.
This video is a result of my passion project. I have put in my soul, blood and bones into creating this method. And I will continue to strive to be a better teacher! #Teach2Reach
