Project+ Update for Daisy as a Peach Clone [Mod]

After over 3 years of on-and-off progress, Daisy as a Peach Clone has finally been added to Project+Ex along with tons of changes & improvements.
I would like to start by apologizing for the video length, it shouldn't be over 30 minutes but there's a lot of Text to get through.
Anyways, in this Update Daisy has gotten:
Improved Models & Textures
Brand New Costumes
Improved Animations
New Attacks
Remade Icons with CSProject v2.5
As well as a few new Voice Clips and improved sentence-mixing for the Announcer.
Updated the Trophy with the Improved Model & Textures
If using the "File Path" versions, Daisy has been added to Classic Mode.
A couple of cool things Exclusive to Project+ due to requiring certain ASM Codes and other Features not currently available for the other versions.

The download link is to a folder that contains multiple Zip Folders depending on what you want.
"File Path" zip folders are Drag-and-Drop versions for whichever Build you chose. The GDrive Folder contains each version separately, the zip folder in the Main Folder contains all of them.
"BrawlInstaller Packages" are, well, Packages for Brawl Installer.
(Does not contain Announcer Voice Clips and a few other things from main download)
"Easy Recoloring" contains the GIMP Image Editor files I used to make Recolors. Made in GIMP 2.6, can be used in later versions.
"Individual Files" are for modders that know their way around Brawl's files and want to add Daisy to Custom Builds.
"HD Textures for Dolphin" Contains the higher quality versions of Daisy's Textures and Icons to use in Dolphin Emulator.
"Everything" All-in-One Download that contains everything included in the other zip folders.

This puts Nintendo to absolute shame. How you incorporated Daisy here is infinitely better than how Nintendo ever did. I’ve seen other mods attempting to declone and add her, but this is absolutely PERFECT. This moveset you gave her is TRUE to her character and THIS is how Daisy would ACTUALLY fight. Granted, neutral b and up b still could use a change, but everything here outweighs it. Literally everything down to her punches, attacks, hard-hitting gestures, taunts, voice clips, alternate costumes, and just the pure effort truly lets Daisy shine and be who she truly is as a character. I don’t even want to play Ultimate again after seeing this, that horrid Peach reskin we got was the biggest disappointment and disservice. So thank you for portraying Daisy as great as you did, THIS is Daisy and you sincerely let her shine. With Daisy being included in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, hopefully this can become a reality soon. Don’t ever stop doing what you do, fantastic work!

wow this mod project is really high quality. its really stands out better than the other daisy mods out there. Is it possible you can give peach the same treatment like daisy here? classic outfit/recolors, sports outfit/recolors, striker games outfits/recolors, and maybe a special outfit form mario kart tour/recolors? Ik theres a lot of peach mods out there but I would like to see this be made espcially by you. It would be a dream come true if you did this. theres a whole lot of peach mods out there but no one has even done these alts yet

Hey so it turns out I had completely forgotten to mention that the Sailor Outfit from Mario Kart Tour comes with a matching costume for Toad, which is an edit of Sailor Toadette from MKT. I've noticed that some costumes are loading incorrectly in the 1 slot version of Project+Ex release. It works fine up to the Classic Daisy skin, but after that, some costumes load completely different ones. For instance, when I select the default/orange Striker costume, it loads white Holiday Cheer Daisy. Striker Daisy loads when I select the green swimsuit skin. I hope this issue gets fixed soon. I've been looking forward to using your Daisy mod in Project+. Thanks for making the Daisy mod!

Thanks for telling me about this, I made a last minute change to how the Costumes were ordered and while I had properly updated the BrawlInstaller Package, I had forgotten to update one of the files for the "File Path" version which is why the order was messed up. Fixed now.

CHANGELOG: Latest Update: 9/5/2023: Changed the Fire Costumes from Red to Orange to better match the Official Design seen in Super Mario Bros Wonder. Still based off Project M Fire Peach so Orange Gloves, Recolored Jewels, etc. Red version is included in the "Individual Files" Download for those who prefer it. Improved Tennis Racket Textures for the Fire Costumes. Fixed Classic Fire Daisy using the same Umbrella Textures as Normal & Sports Fire Daisy, the correct ones were included in the "Easy Recoloring" & "HD Textures for Dolphin" Downloads. PlyDaisy5KTennisB_mipmap.xcf & PlyDaisy5KTennisG1_mipmap.xcf can now be edited with GIMP 2.6 or 2.8 like the rest of .xcf files. Previously required 2.10 because I forgot to check a setting that allowed for Backwards-Compatibility. CSProject Files include both Orange & Red Fire Costumes, Slots 10 & 11 respectfully. 8/11/2023: Fixed the 35 Costumes version for Project+ Daisy having the wrong order of files which resulted in mismatched Costumes & Icons. At the last minute I decided to reorder the files for this version so it was easier to find each Costume. While I had updated the BrawlInstaller Package with all the related files, I forgot one for the "File Path" version.

This is honestly a very cool update! I especially love all the new outfits shown here since, while not knowing all the skins from Mario Kart Tour, the ones shown here look very nice and interesting, especially with the Brawl aesthetic. If it's okay for me to suggest something if you're planning on adding new stuff for a future update, maybe you could have the Project M and + versions of the new Up Taunt be loopable when you hold the D-Pad. BTW, I bet you somebody could do a version of the taunt that involves the Funky Soul track from Spider-Man 3 playing in the background while using it.

I think that in the future, you should update Daisy's fire alts to match how Fire Daisy in _Super Mario Bros. Wonder_ will actually look. After all, Fire Peach doesn't have a ponytail in _Wonder_ (which also matches how Fire Peach in the _Mario_ movie actually looks). More changes may also be needed to match Daisy's portrayal in _Wonder._

Giving Toad the Game Boy monochrome wasn't a bad idea for Game Boy Classic Daisy since it can be similar to Superball Toad in Super Mario Maker 2 and Toad's appearances throughout the Game Boy's gaming history of releases. I have a minor suggestion? I'm sure it won't be possible due to sound, realism, consistentsy and likely hitbox but I always thought of replacing Daisy's Frying Pan that was originally meant to be associated to Peach to be replaced with a Baseball Bat from the said Mario Sport games.

they probably changed something in the GAME's code, not on Daisy's Character, so that she's able to throw carrots.

hey stupid mario bros fan Is there by any chance you can check the costume files folder in the individual files zip? I noticed that it only contains the dark and fake costume presets for the different outfits. And for some reason editing the textures on the dark model doesn't seem to work I put the regualar texture files on there and daisy still ends up having the purple tint on her. Can there be a base model with default textures for each of the different costumes she has? Also can there be base models in the easy recoloring folder? Lastly, can the texture names on the models be changed? things are kinda too confusing in a way since a lot of the textures in there are named differently aka peacheyetex and the hd textures is daisyeyetex

I'm sorry for not specifying this in the video: To avoid blowing up the already huge File Size of the zip folders, I only included the Costumes files inside the Normal Hairstyle (and Classic Hairstyle for Classic Outfit) as the intent was for the models to be swapped out, not the textures like you're trying to do. All of the Outfits in the "Normal" folder have their Costume Files, if you want to use the other Hairstyles then you have to replace the models. Included in each Outfit Folder are .mdl0 files which are the different models. FitDaisy##.mdl0 is the Main Model, FitDaisyShd.mdl0 is the Shadow Model (as Brawl doesn't have real shadows) Open up the desired Costume in BrawlBox/BrawlCrate, click on the + next to "ModelData[0]" and then the + next to "3DModels(NW4R)" Now you can right-click on the "FitDaisy##" and select "Replace" to change Daisy's Hairstyle. In regards to the texture names, the eyelids are named "PeachTexEyeLid" so they can still be animated if used with a Peach moveset. That should be the only difference in file names for the HD Textures. I didn't think it mattered because they have to be renamed anyways for Dolphin to use them, and the required names change depending on what version of Dolphin you're using. Look up a tutorial on using Texture Packs for Dolphin if you need help with that.
