PROJECTION MAPPING EDGE BLENDING in QLab. What is Edge Blending? Edge blending is a common projection mapping technique that allows a projection designer to use multiple projectors to create one seamless projection for larger designs. In this video you will learn what edge blending is, why it exists, and how you can do it yourself using QLab. Whenever we have large projection designs we need to use multiple projectors. First instinct tells us to just line up the projector output but this is difficult to do in practice. Instead we overlap the images and blend the two sides together to create a seamless image spanning the entire surface.
