ProMods Canada for American Truck Simulator! 

i just watched your video on the donner pass

Highway 1 is the main highway across the country Canada has no Interstate you have to drive thorough every city and town no matter what slows u way way down travelling anywhere

Which border crossing is this? I've been through Sumas, Peace Arch and the 13 border crossings. He mentions Bellingham which is through Peace Arch. I don't recognize this....

And Hwy 99 is the highway he's traveling once past the crossing... This doesn't seem like a fair representation of Peace Arch at all...

@@CassaBangal33 that isn’t supposed to be peace arch, I forget what it’s called but it’s supposed to be the truck crossing, btw it’s really accurate

@@simonandrews2071 Yup 176th Pacific Truck crossing into South Surrey. On the south side of the boarder it's Blaine WA

modded ETS2 and ATS are so drastically different. in ETS2 everywhere from Iceland to Iraq, spain to Kazakhstan exist with essentially SCS quality, sometimes better. In ATS, *most* of the modded land is highway through empty plains

Can't speak much to the rest of the states but the details & accuracy in the Colorado DLC are amazing.

I live in New York and im suprised i havent seen any games recreate my area other than one which had a few train stations i've been to

How accurate would you say it is. Are some places literally spot on?just curious

@@_anthonyr I've played with it and its quite good. only thing is, the game isn't too scale (obviously) so some parts looks weird. Over all, quite accurate

You also avoid downtown.

@@jordangraff2254 really? In a truck, its my favourite bridge (westnlbound) you have a wicked view if the mountains and the north shore. In a car its bot nearly as nice.

@@bcben437 I've never taken it in a rig yet... Never taken a load out that way and don't plan on it 😂... But yeah, the poles mess with my eyes on my bicycle or driving a car... At night it's not a problem though... Just when the light's going through them onto the road

Tbh at first I thought this was the absolute dumbest comment I've seen. But to be fair, a lot of companies do go to Canada. So I guess it'd be cool to have that option eventually.

@@EvanAviator no its not Canada is its own country the US is only bordered with the Canada, Canada was actually apart of the uk until 1867 and it became its own country and yes its in North America but thats different cuz north America is the continent Canada and the US sit on Canada is its own thing and has its own government and all that crap so if scs ever did make a Canadian truck simulator it would be in a different country and canada is also the second largest country in the world behind Russia Canada's size is 9.985 million kilometres and has 10 provinces and Canada was never apart of America Canada was apart of the UK and as i said until 1867 Canada became its own country and how ik this cuz i like history and geography and the US size is only 9.834 kilometres and is the thrid largest country in the world behind Canada and Russia and yes it has more cities then Canada but Canada is still way bigger from coast to coast we also only have like 37,742,154 thousand people in Canada and the US has like 331 million people who in live the US but in Canada we also can't live on half of our land cuz of a rock called the Canadian shield that you can't build on or anything but is used for mining there's your history/ geography also Canada has the most lakes in North America and the cleanest lakes and water and that also we have like over 2 million lakes in Canada, 31,752 of which are larger than three square kilometres, with 561 of these lakes having a surface area larger than 100 square kilometres. In fact, over nine per cent of the country is covered by freshwater. That's over 890,000 square kilometres! And yes that's alot of water 😂

max uniso there is no road connecting the north and the south. And it would no make any sense driving from Calgary( Canada) to Buenos ares (Argentina). At this point, the cargo will take the train and boat. What I try to say is that we can’t connect then physically with a road, but we could “teleport” ourself of course.

Even just American Truck Sim would work with Canada and Mexico. It's all part of America

The island will be released in the future according to the team. All the required programming for the ferries already exist in game from both ETS2 and the Washington map
