You can tell he is talented by the fact that this build of his can both idle and rev at the same time, runs so pure that there is no exhaust smoke or any fumes at all, and how his knuckles are immune to all heat. The exhaust is so high performance that all he had to do was loosely hold the tip near it. Truly a miracle worker.
@@ellisdylan007naw, my 8cyl hemi revs like that, the first one WAS the idling car revving, it probably was actually a 5.7-6.2l hemi engine considering it sounds so damn close to mine. It could easily be gas... But there are at least 2 other vehicles that rev afterwards too 😂
So, I can attest to this. My nismo GTR is one of the best sounding GTR’s I’ve ever heard. Not because it’s mine but because how Tym Switzer designed my exhaust. Cats not allowed in this house, 4 resonators and the 2015 nismo titanium exhaust tips are shaped like trumpets very smooth form they are the perfect horns. Resonators delete out the crappy raspy sounds and you are left with a clean smooth tone that is then magnified with horns just like on brass instruments. All makes perfect sense. Thankyou for sharing this video.
You never get the same sound out of a Diesel with a fart pipe I remember when I sold my S15 Silvia kept the 4 inch cannon put it on my 2009 hilux and it did nothing So I just did a straight pipe from the motor to just after the front left wheel 👌🏻
lol my 10 inch exhaust tip on my 4 inch straight pipe that have axle dumping about 5 or 6 inches off the ground def is much much louder than my normal 4"-5" exhaust tip side exit. 2013 LML Ltz
@@user-zi9kc7td4w sounds like that would be tuff as shit and illagel as shit where I am. Mine isn't the loudest rig on the block but I got it tuned for the best turbo dose. From memory mine is 2 and a half inch from headers to a 3 inch down pipe Unfortunately she doesn't blow soot just yet that's the next little Tweek to do
@@user-zi9kc7td4w are the ltz's those big boy Chevy Silverados? Hardly see them around everyone here seems to love those rams and f 250s tho see more of them then LandCruisers and hiluxs nowday
Yeah no Honda sounds half as decent as that I don’t think you’ve ever heard a real Honda before they sound like raspy fart cans. Almost like a v12 if it was undercooked and lost 8 cylinders
As a musician, this could be true. As a car owner, not that dramatic of a difference. Sound is dependent on shape, size, and material of the resonating chamber. Oh, and the damn engine! Lol
It's 3 different cars you're hearing there. Yes a tip can change something, but it's not able to change the way your engine sounds. In this video you're not hearing the pitch change, you're hearing the complete engine change. Also, it's very unpleasant to touch the exhaust pipes bare handed.
Here’s a true fact that can actually help people. Good quality metal will definitely change the sound. Thick metal vs thin metal sounds completely different.
Nope it wont unless you make the whole exhaust from it and all it does is it either amplifies vibrations or reduces them due to additional weight... Thin metal sounds like screeching loose sheet metal being pushed infront if a train and thick metal would sound like a tractor under water... it wont do the thing you want cuz you still need a proper resonator if you want to change the pich and sound all together... Thickness is the least important thing and I do speak from years of experience...
@@Kevinaquino937 I’ve even chased valve lash on cheap headers. After installing high quality headers the sound was gone. The metal was cheap and thin. And yes a nice resonator makes a great difference in rasp. No one likes rasp or valve noise. High quality mufflers will eliminate interior drone when paired with nice pipes and resonators. Horse power is one thing but sound is another and you get what you pay for. To answer the question the pitch would change a little but the resonator and muffler will do more.
@@Ter0091 English must not be your first language, eh? 😆 What do _you_ drive? And don't even try that, "I don't have to prove anything to you." bullshit. Let's see it, bud.
Thank you, exactly my point, as a colored man from New York with Dominican parents surrounded by Dominicans, they done already started bro 🤦🏾♂️🤣🤣🤣 all they say is "mierda conioo!"
Dominicans don’t drive Hondas, they like cars they don’t have to work on, ie cheap ass BMW’s. Puerto Ricans drive Hondas because they love working on cars. 👍
I twin turbo inline 4 or inline 6 can sound nice just gotta do some research they don’t all sound like fart cans it’s just that that’s the most typical build
Bruh open pipe like that would be dripping atleast😅 the fact no movement from car on the lift is also kinda weird. But an open pipe like that 😅😅😅😅 ok u tripping G
No Sir exhaust tips do not change the sound, removing all the flow restrictions in an exhaust system such as resonator(s), cats, DPF & EGR delete, stock muffler to a good aftermarket muffler will change the sound/ tone. The length of the muffler determines the tone, the longer the muffler the deeper the tone is, the shorter it is the more obnoxious it will sound 🤟.
If you actaully do the research the tip allows more airflow and controls backpressure. It doesn't have the same impact as changing the exhaust system but there is a slight difference.
I like the way the first one sounds! But it also depends on what time of car it is in order for me to see which one actually belongs or goes good with the car!
@@StraightPipedByGexhaust sure sure rev idle same time not same fkcing engine and your hand when he "rev" don't moove a single inch but ok bro xdddddddd yyou are just joke ahahah but nice bullshit ahha
@@StraightPipedByGexhaustso what car was revving in the start? it was clearly a rev into and idle, not a starting idle with an entirely new car reving. it 100% was the idle from the first rev which was edited into the vid 😂😂😂❤

Yep you can see the vapour flash on the horizontal triple tip. People are too happy and quick to be sceptics doubting everything. Laziness and lack of observation has blurred the lines between fiction and fact.
C'mon man. Be real. i installed custom exhaust for years and used to do this same thing for people constantly. Diameter, thickness of material, single layer or rolled edge, many things make a difference, but you dont have to fake it. The difference is real but nowhere near that staggering. The biggest difference is in the factory muffler period. Everything else can be changed, and it does make subtle changes based on the preference of the owner. Used to sell single layer chrome tips that were pressed into a square. They looked almost like a cowbell. So you know what they sounded like? Tink tink tink tink tink tink tink every time a cylinder hit. It didnt change the volume, it didnt change the tone. Just the metalic frequency of the tip vibrating from every exhaust pulse went away. And another thing, some tips will ring as soon as they are welded on, but if your holding it in your hand it mutes it. Just by touching it your ruining your own test. If your holding the tips to test them, you need to install a few hundred more and learn.
Of course they do! I had a 1996 Saturn SC2 which had a 4 cylinder in it, I had a 4 in tip on it, which I believe is the size of the last one shown here. It made it sound good, especially going through tunnels! I changed my exhaust tip and put a Aqua moto intake air filter on it, and I chopped the shifter down a couple inches, which gave me a quicker and shorter shift, which stock is supposed to run a 16.5 in the ¼ mile, but I ran a 15.3 @ 90 mph!
It IS revving tho! You can see the steam clearly on the triple tip exhaust. Idk what’s up with the idle noise though. It *IS* a muffler shop guys, so there could be another car idling off screen. 🤷🏾♂️
