PROOF MultiVersus Ranked is HORRIBLY Rigged! 

It makes zero sense that i have to play against a master harley queen in bronze because she wanted to play samurai jack for the first time

Yeah the way they do ranked is horrid. The moment I hit plat on Finn, I went back to normal 1v1

I don’t play multiversus that often now, but I was excited to check out ranked and I lost 5 matches in a row in bronze and I was scratching my head as to how sweaty my matches were. Then I checked and everyone I was fighting was high gold low plat. I’m ok fighting tougher players, but it’s bullshit that I have to hold a bronze badge while I basically fight in gold and plat. Like having a bronze badge should mean you struggle to win against other bronze players.

As someone who's played fighters for 20yrs, competed for 10 yrs, & got top rank in multiple objectively harder fighters (like Tekken), I had to drop out of rank at D5 Jason. The balance is already egregiously against my character in MVS, then you punish me for being good with said character by using MMR match making and having me fight Master ranks on Top Tiers (literal Morty, Finn, & T&J gauntlet as Jason), AND the RP system just hit a 180 when I went from P1 to D5 (suddenly I lose 3x more than I win). I had a 60% overall winrate in Rank, in what world does that mean I'm hard stuck in D5. I would be climbing in any other fighting game. I was literally artificially kept in a rank because the system felt I belonged there...

Ranked has been miserable because I've won 2 games out of like 20, one of which was due to the guy throwing, due to me being matched against people WAY above my skill level every single time. I just wanna enjoy ranked but at this point casual is the only enjoyable mode because at least there I have a chance.

The opponents ive been fighting ever since i started ranked, has felt the same. Ranked is just Grind Mode. Thats why we dont have placement matches. Thats why every level feels like a damn free for all in who youre going up against. Its just a grind to fill up this bar and hope you get some win streaks, cause HOO boy! The rp rewards suuuuuck

I’m filled with dread every time i boot up the game. It’s just the same opponents game after game in ranked. I just hit silver and I get nothing but plat or diamond players until I lose. And nine times out of ten you are gonna keep getting samurai jack every game.

So i just played the midpatch update today, I'm playing my sliver two samurai jack and i get matched up against a Beetlejuice: • Keep in mind Beetlejuice is entirely new meaning it's a no rank and ranks don't share on all characters •But the person i was fighting is a Diamond V Joker, And i won that. They say that the system is "Giving you a rating to give you the best experience and putting you in the correct skill level" So I'm on par with Golds, Plats and Diamonds is what the devs are telling me? 💀 I'm not a god tier player but this shit kinda seems ridiculous since I don't even feel like my skill is THAT high to be getting THESE matches

I agree with the baseline ranking system. Like in ssbu, the more characters you get to high GSP, the higher the starting GSP is for characters you haven't played yet. Or that dissidia game that came out several years ago had a ranked system where if you got to gold with one character, all the others go to silver, then once you get to platinum, all the others go to gold, and so on.

Won 2 matches (both platinum, Jack and Smith) got 20RP in total, 10RP each. Lost 1 match (diamond, Taz) and lost -23RP I’m all about the grind, but it feels like the time I put into winning is pointless. It’s 1 step forward 2 steps back, and repeat. Honestly it’s discouraging, but I will reach masters V, at least.

I stopped playing 2 months ago but saw ranked came out so I gave it a go… I’m already hard stuck bronze 5 because I’m versing masters and diamonds with 8k+ wins to their name

After so many matches and tears, i made it to Diamond 5, and i think ill stop there. From bronze to diamond, youre stuck fighting players better than you because the mmr is tied to the casual matches, so if you put in like 50 hours into casual, the ranked mode will hold you to that instead of, you know, treating ranked like a separate mode and giving the player a fresh start.

At my Marvin height (I took a break but ima get back) I was 357th, top 300 best Marvin on earth (or mars if you will), and ranked sucks. Not only because of how hard it is to push and how mixed the matchmaking is, it’s because of the absurdly broken characters ASWELL. You can get somebody who sucks to platinum or masters if you just buy them the latest battle pass, teach them the basic moves, and like, I dunno give them an unregulated amount of time to play. As of now multiversus auto tilted my Marvin a whole rank down… I have no idea why. I was in Gold 2 and now I’m in Silver 5. Ugh… back on the grind… I guess… love the video man.

They may implement the same thing rainbow six siege which is there is a hidden mmr rank that places you with people within the same skill level but it’ll show you bronze

Top 20 2v2 black adam, and yeaaaa, Ranked is just normal play with less stages, a meter and rewards, that's what I felt like it was always going to be, but people were begging for it so badly I thought there was something I was missing, but not really. I only played for the jack skins, but once they brought it to best of three for the same amount of ranked points, I've never touched it since. On a bright side though, the game really does shine in 2v2 because I was having a lot more fun there then I was in solos.

yo, top 7 Shaggy here (around 3600RP). As a top 100+ player, it gets to a point where keep grinding for ranking is kinda pointless cuz I'm always fighting against dia, plat or even bronze players that cleary are not as good as me. And having to play against them for +3rp is kinda boring. I do sometimes play with low master and high diamond players. 70% o the matches still not challeging, still I get 20+ RP against players with 600, 800, OVER 1000RP less than me, and still I get 20+ rp. following the logic I should be losing HUNDREDS of RP, but I rarely lose more than 20... ranked sucks

Tbh the team that is responsible for all those and similar things just can't do basic maths. For the point race event (don't even remember the name, the one where u god the golden/silver/bronze badges for top spots) it also gave extremely unfair amounts of points. Sometimes you would win with someone super good and get like 70 XP and then sometimes it gave over 300 XP for no apparent reason.

Im litterally in a looped in plat 1 and everytime i go to diamond its making me be in a loop in plat 1 and its so annoying in 2v2 cause your teammate be fucking around im only doing this for the skin

Yeah ranked is horrible, today I played as rick, a character I only bought yesterday to complete missions, on ranked for some weekly missions that requird him on rabked, and somehow, I am on bronze 1 now, almost silver, when I played with Jason for 5 days straight to get to silver before I decided that the grind wasn't worth it, that was suck a gut punch, and I know that it will immediately start bringing me down as soon as I get to silver so I don't even want to try exploiting that

It literally took me 3 sleepless nights just to get to top 1000 as t&j and ended up taking a break for 2 weeks because of how sick I am of this game when playing unfair match over and over again

Plat 2 on Tom, and I fight mid diamond to master players, they kinda suck a lot of the time, though I've fought low gold players that are better. It feels very... strange, almost like people cheese to a high rank and aren't actually of that skill caliber

Every single game I have played on Banana Guard has been against Diamond 1 MINIMUM. more often than not I'm consistently playing against Master 1 players with 1000+ games camping me out lol. These games were all through silver and gold.

Yooo. So I main Rick, and I feel so much more comfortable with him than anyone else., but like you said I'm really fighting for my life in ranked. And then I pick up Banana Guard for shits and giggles, and I'm winning a strong 70 / 80 percent of games and I just don't understand how I'm doing better with a damn banana guard with only a fraction of total games played with him compared to my main. Im in diamond constantly fighting people in bronze and silver. Rp make no sense. Ill beat a bronze and get more points than beating someone in platinum. This is honestly the worst rank system ive ever seen.

I'm not built for 1v1, but I do enjoy 2v2. Unfortunately this game is in such a broken place atm with ranked/matchmaking that I just hit gold 5 playing with randos, and I'm done. I don't care at all to keep going or bother with any other characters.

RN i'm in Diamond 4 and i can't get Further only get Players that are way under my Rank and only get between +6 & 9RP each Match but when i lose once: between -20 & -25RP Also you come across the same Characters & Opponents often. But the biggest Issue are the Hitboxes and Dodge System in this Game. Everything they do to this game is just miserablel trashy. I know that if beetlejuice comes out next week there will be a disaster for sure, probable gonna be broken as hell

Yes the ranked rp is rigged in platinum..takes away 3x as many points you would get if you went 2-0..somehow you get more rp for going 2-1 than 2-0..-31 for going 0-1 when my teammate kills himself on purpose and backs out before 2nd game..today I played 3 time where we won 1-0 it bugged out each time and we didn't get any points or in other situations you get 10 points at most for basically makin them quit after 1-0..game is always right player is never right when they know the game is buggy
