As ICE market share decreases the number of models decreases and manufacturing efficiency decreases and costs go up. In the early 2030's there will be a very limited selection of models selling for astronomical prices.

The China numbers is including Hybrid, I think the interesting graph to follow over time is BEV, hybrid cars are just a short term play from legacy Auto... And they take a big piece of the cake right now and probbably for another 2-3 years.

Maybe I haven't driven it enough yet. Just got it the other day. Some things seem not quite so good. But has anyone done a REAL analysis between Tesla's automated driving capabilities and all their competitors? Who is at level 3 and level 4 etc. The Chinese have driverless cars on the road. I do not follow the vast majority of non-business related musk news. From my perspective as an investor, and as a person who wants to see more sustainable industry I believe Elon musk is a mixed bag, but an overall benefit to society. Also, with his level of intelligence, if he does actually turn out to be evil, we’re all screwed..

They will just be no more demand for their cars, as the prices will raise with falling sales and EV´s will become increasingly more affordable and are already in the mid segment the financially much better option, only people are too uninformed, but that changes with more people having EV´s and especially having them for a few years.

I think you're dead wrong about the endorsement of Trump making no difference. Trump is all about competing with China. As far as EVs go, Tesla is the only lever he has. Their relationship is everything.
China has no oil reserves. US is the largest producer of oil now. China has every incentive to electrify. I think the leading indicator idea may be more nuanced.

There have been numerous comparisons videos pitting FSD against cars like Waymo/Cruise, using the exact same starting and ending destinations during the same time of day, and FSD wins every time on both smoothness and arrival time. Some of these comparisons were even before v12 was a thing and FSD already had them beat, and yet Waymo/Cruise are ALREADY robotaxi services. So when you say "FSD not ready and won't be for a long time", what the fuck are you talking about.

@@yingle6027 By not answering my questions I can assume you have not used FSD v12.4, nor have you ever driven a Tesla. Everyday Tesla owners use FSD without any interventions. And if Tesla builds a robotaxi without a steering wheel and pedals, then FSD will have to be good enough to avoid any interventions. Most likely 2025. As for regulators, do you know that quite a few states have already approved autonomous driving? That’s where Tesla will test their robotaxis first.
