I've seen a lot of plant tips and tricks here on 'Plant One On Me' but never before have I seen propagation by power drill, which Aaron Selby of ‪@Plantdelights‬ will be sharing with us today on some of their precious agaves.
Check out Plant Delights selections here: www.plantdelig...
And be sure to watch both of our videos on the nursery tour and the botanic garden tour on our sister channel, ‪@FlockFingerLakes‬ here:

Very cool method, it shows how physics and biology meet in a technical way. I want to learn about using copper insulators in the soil next. Hope you're well Summer. I have so much stuff growing, I had to get help.

Me too. I Saw them a few days ago and there was lots of videos with different opinions. So Idk which is more accurate and how it should be done. I like to test it myself and see what happens.

It's called Electroculture and it was outlawed less than 100 years ago. There are many studies done.

Interesting method! Reminds me of the new growth that has followed when I cut the tops off some of my haworthia and aloe, although I keep the tops and root those as well.

Very interesting method of propagation and watching the process very informative. I only recently heard of drilling to produce offsets so I guess it has been a well kept secret!

When people see me they tell me "you know a lot and you are sophisticated!" But I feel like an idiot when I look at Summer.😅

How many babies can you get out of one plant?

It depends on the species, some produce one or two offsets while others can break into a dozen.
