Excellent video, makes so much sense! Finally have a better understanding of the pelvic tilt, which I’ve struggled with myself (thanks fish bowl). I look forward to your videos each week. Great stuff.
FINALLY! This connects a lot of the missing pieces. In the video you mention your SYSTEM will the SYSTEM aka secrets be shared in the masterclass videos ?
I’ve seen tens of thousands of golf swings. A very few good ones and mostly bad ones. ( I’m old). From a kinetic perspective, you two are offering the best guidance on a golf swing out there.!! Maybe beyond the student. Great stuff. Keep it going.
Gentlemen another terrific video! You explain not only the how but the why. I immediately felt my lower back relax and glutes engage with change in hip tilt.
In my forward swing as I make contact with the ball I feel as though I’m going to fall forward losing my balance a little,is that a bad thing or am I not squatting enough?
Can you guys do a video on any movement assessments you might do with clients? I’d venture to say the majority of the population doesn’t have the ability to do a scap CAR let alone truly have hip extension, proper foot mechanics. Curious how you guys incorporate the fitness side of things into programming? You guys are awesome movers, but most of us aren’t there rn.
You Guys keep dropping these great videos. I have been trying to learn the movements you teach and was getting a little stuck with the drop/stretch part and just couldn't get comfortable doing it and would seem to get off balance. So this will help. Thanks guys for your dedication to teaching. Cheers✌️
Bravo! This was definitely the missing link. Glad it confirms my more toe-based setup is correct. The more "general" golf teacher would teach the naive straight spine setup which is not natural.. With that said, would you favor both arms to be in external rotation at address? And I assume that both hands/lower-arms would be pronated (to form the grip)... ? Thanks
More Jedi knowledge. The belt line tilt concept is so simple. More great advice rooted in empirical evidence. I’ve always felt like I ‘rise’ in the backswing and when I tried not to by standing taller, I just humped the ball and smashed it out the heel. Makes sense now. Tremendous stuff gents. 💪🏼
There is a certain amount of relaxed heaviness in this Fall. This Hovland setup provides spacing in the vertebrae as you Spiral Down bone by bone. Nice!
Finally!!!! Been waiting so long for the set-up insights. learned some new things...look at my posture vs TJ and although I'm on the balls of my feet, my knees are overflexed, so I'm not in the best "swimming pool" posture. I fight trail hip extension in the backswing...this helps explain it. also helps explain why i fight pulling the arms in too quickly on the backswing. Can't wait to work on this
THIS IS THE VIDEO IVE BEEN WAITING FOR. thank you so much for the detailed explanation on setup. NO ONE explains setup like you do. I absolutely love how you explain why you do something and take equal time to explain what the improper way is and why!
Ok I have to ask, Teach kept on looking back toward the camera, I wonder if he was also looking in a mirror to see what his body looked like as you worked him through each of 3 position.
Think you could do a deep dive video on the shoulders. More specifically through the transition to hit. I know you touch on it quite a bit in other videos but and elaboration would be fantastic
