Hey guys. Love your content. I mainly follow you guys and AMG golf. AMG posted a video on their page basically saying that rib sway doesn't happen with professional players and gears shows that it's a 2-D illusion. I'm not trying to stir up controversy by any means. I'm just trying to get the right mental map in my mind of what happens in the golf swing. Can you speak their argument about this and where you would agree or disagree? Here is the link to the video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-up2olhRq6f4.html. The part of the video talking about chest sway starts around the 4 minute mark.

Week 7 is going really well. Still continuing to improve every range session. Wiper drill was huge eye opener. Learning how to get the club to fall behind without making a big loop with the hands and arms was huge! My coach for the last year was having me loop to get the club shallow and behind. Working the wiper drill, now I realize I can make the club take that trajectory without getting my hands and arms stuck behind me! Another 3 mph on the driver. Biggest improvement was the contact today.

This is the only feel most of us need to play good golf. Anytime im struggling I just feel the following: 1. Thumbs down at address, let my wrists go into maximum ulnar at setup 2. Thumbs up by RAP 3. Thumbs down from the top I feel it as a “throw” downwards over the left or right of my intermediate point. Crisp contact and good divots.

Riley, I found a format example for blending the demonstrating essential parts with a whole swing to show the dynamic whole. In this case, it is an examination of the swing of Bryson Dechambeau and how he creates speed through different parts of a swing from beginning to end, noticing the description of the parts, but then constant integration of those into the whole swing with whole swing video images multiple times. I would like to see as I’ve said in the past you show your whole swing as the holistic dynamic version of the implementation of the parts or universal laws that you are teaching separately. Here is the link to the video example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Y74n3nJnnIo.htmlsi=wgiVtWm28XvhFWYw

You guys don’t ever talk about the feet and ground pressure being the cause of rotation and the pivot. Fair to say in your model that the lower half is a passenger being brought along by the upper half (except for the pelvic drop)? Nowadays with all of the focus on ground reaction forces, pressure plates, and distance I find this to be the ONLY concept I have questions about after watching all of your content, and I oscillate between the two swing models (use the ground as the engine vs the chest). Any thoughts (or a video) would be awesome. Thanks, guys!

"Do 1, 2,3,4,5 ..." but we're not saying to hit all those positions ... That's exactly what you just said. So, you're saying, "Do A,B,C, but don't do A,B,C." No wonder people can't learn golf. This is absolutely ridiculous. The sacrum is not your tail bone, that's your coccyx. What does the sphincter do? You're purposely selling confusion under the guise of instruction. Finally, your analysis or reasoning as to the cause and effect of thing is completely backward. You torso can never "cause the hips to turn." The torso isn't connected to anything except the hips and therefore it's the hips that are causing the torso to turn. The only stable thing our body is touching is the ground with our feet, everything must happen from the ground up, even if you don't realize it, it does. If your arms were pushing against a wall that would be different. Again do this but don't do this, "move the sacrum toward the target, but don't move the sacrum toward the target." You're cheating by using an advanced golfer to illustrate this ridiculousness. Use a novice and the absurdity will be obvious. "I'm gonna take this really good advance player and pretend to teach him idiotic things and watch how good he is ..." "Now let's praise each other!"

Another excellent video! You guys truly give some the best instruction available.. Great job with Clay B on his video Riley. As a fairly new golfer , I tend to get the club to the top before I start the rib sway or pelvic drop . I find when I do this it limits the drop in the pelvis So would you say if I drop from P3 up the swing would be more fluid and get more of a drop in the pelvis? I love the start of the swing videos as well with the hula hope drill ! Thank you !
