I do not advise tying down an electric awning unless the arms are supported at each of the tube ends.

I thought bug go to UV light ? I was told LED lights don't make uv light ? thank you so much for this video .

I have a 2020 keystone Springdale 260BH, I was wondering if my awning was powered by (120 volt 30 amp) or 12 volt battery? I just bought a brand new one and awning will not let out wit 12 volt battery?

Yes, it is powered by 12 volt.

I believe he is talking about how you didnt stop halfway out for a couple seconds to let the gas struts "catch up." If you don't it tends to prematurely wear the seals.

This guys wrong! The struts absolutely are there to “auto-dip” in the rain and yes, they do just that! Not sure what he’s talking about.

Absolutely not. Had a few customers that believed that and ending up replacing their awnings because they filled up with water and ripped off their camper.

Yep, mine dip just fine and let the water off, usually the front end and then go right back to where they belong. The only time water builds up is if the braces are tightened where it can’t collapse.

Yes, I've had the same awning for 5 years and it auto dumps just as designed. Once it dumps it springs right back up to the angle it was previously set to. So I don't know why he thinks it doesn't. I've watched it do it dozens of times. Even the manufacturer touts this feature in its ads.
