I can just imagine what the Lady of the Lake is thinking everytime she sees Geralt after he loses Aerondight: "This guy again? I only have so many swords!"
When I read the title of the video I thought you were gonna do what I did: go to Toussaint way way under leveled and get the sword around level 17-20. This is possible but insanely difficult on death march, primarily because of the fight with the hermit. One hit from him and you’re dead (I did it at level 19) - and after all that, I finally got Aerondight only to discover _the sword has a level requirement of 35_ lol. I’d never known that before cause I’d only ever gotten it when I was above level 35.
"You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just 'cause some watery tart threw a sword at you! Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony." - Dennis the Wise
@@epicalfailure83 "Ooh, what a giveaway! Did you hear that? Did you hear that, eh? That’s what I’m on about! Did you see him repressing me? You saw it, didn’t you?"
i just waited x amount of years replayed it, and somehow my choices were different this time around and alot of it felt so different that i coudnt even remember it doing before
@@leflyxdvd Well, New Gen is here, Gam is looking so much cleaner now, it feels like a new game - perfect timing to get all trophies on Steam if you are willing. It feels awesome to replay it on NG+ (and now deathmarch for me). Would highly suggest it.
I do the same with the main quests(going till first detlaff fight). But after that i do "father knows worst" quest for honor check and "feet as cold as ice" for valor. Both quests are short and also close to the lake where you get the sword
On my first play through I did blood and wine before hearts of stone, which was a mistake. I got aerondight and the grandmaster ursine armour so the hearts of stone bosses weren’t a challenge 🤷♀️
Like the previous commenter said, it was in TW1. If you imported your save into TW2, you would also have it but you would lose it at the start of the game.
I remember the first time i played Blood and Wine, i was so proud to have discovered Aerondight and not have to backtracked it was available to me to pick up right there on the first try
Listen! Strange women, lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! I can't claim to be an emperor just because some watery tart lobed a scimatar at me! They'd put me away!
00:48 as a completely UNrelated sidenote, ive been Farming that (Phoenix) Egg (as it will continually respawn) but couldnt recall when/how i got it the first time!? :)~ Cool video Slinger. but that 'vitality' ?? a Mod im guessing?
