Prophet of God urges people to get COVID vaccine and wear masks 

I enjoy and appreciate your videos, but this one has not aged well. “It’s been medically proven that these vaccines are safe,”… 😬

From the Church Handbook: "Ultimately, individuals are responsible to make their own decisions about vaccination. If members have concerns, they should counsel with competent medical professionals and also seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost." Nowhere does the Church Handbook say that deciding not to get a vaccine is cause to question another's faith or obedience to the prophet. So please do not persecute your fellow saints. It is reminiscent of the Pharisees complaining about unwashed hands to the neglect of weightier matters.

You are assuming a lot in this video. You are also demonstrating what is wrong within the culture of the church. So many people casting judgment on others in the congregation based on outward appearance. You don’t know the situations of each member, so stop judging.

Wow…I love all these videos, but the 💉one…nope. The prophet specially has been telling us to “hear him” NOT to get it. It has done WAY MORE harm than good. This video hurts my heart. 👎🏻

There is a big difference between a prophet offering his personal opinion (which can be wrong) vs when the Lord commands something. If the Lord wanted all to get vaccinated, his prophet would have worded it accordingly.

This hurts my heart. The last time I had an injection in my body, my heart literally stopped for 10 minutes and my poor husband had to watch doctors scramble to resuscitate me and save my life and my daughter in my womb. My sister went into anaphylaxis when she got her first inoculation and had issues. My family has a history of allergies. So, I took it to the Lord. I prayed. I received my answer. President Nelson was actually consulted in regards to congenital heart defects I was born with. I love him. I sustain him. It hurts when you say I do not have the faith to follow his counsel because you see...it takes faith for me to follow my answer from the Spirit in this. I appreciate what you are saying, but I also think we should allow people to have their own revelations regarding their health. I don't find that anywhere in your message. It isn't fair to condemn people with answers different than yours.

Michael… I am torn because of this statement from the church. My step brothers girls friend died a day later after getting the phizer vax. Now 3 kids no longer have their mother. My mom prayed about it and felt she was not to get the vax. Later her doctor said it’s a good thing you did not get it you have a rare blood type. Now on the flip side a family of 6 lost their dad to covid. I take it this way. This was a choice. I think the church was just following government health but does out government have out best interests? The church has been wrong in the past. Just look at the Kirkland bank ordeal. I still follow the prophet but we as members have to seek out our revelation that is key!

The proper way to ask people to follow the prophet is to encourage them to seek personal revelation as the prophet has taught. We are dishonoring the prophet when we tell others what personal decisions they should make on this matter, especially when the prophet himself said that these decision are personal and private. We should be trying to build faith, not destroy it by telling people that their personal decision that they made through the Holy Spirit is wrong.

The “unrelenting pandemic” is how people are reacting to a new seasonal flu.

I think generally a lot people have seen that the jab has become very political and come with a losing of freedom aspect of it as to some of our local and federal government. It’s good advice from the President Nelson for most people but we always have our freedom of choice. I got the vaccine after the email came out and I was sick for ten days. Didn’t feel safe to me.

The president is giving a personal opinion not doctrine. This post is what drives me absolutely crazy about Lds culture. Not everything that comes out of the prophets mouth is doctrine. At times it’s personal opinion. This stupid video reminds me of an article that I read in an ensign cautioning members about drinking excess energy drinks. A few members in our group took it upon themselves to say the church has condemned and outlawed caffeine usage. The prophet can say all he wants if it’s a personal opinion and I’m not under any sort of obligation to follow it. When a prophet of the lord spoke from the pulpit and said sisters should only marry return missionaries that was definitely not doctrine and it was wrong. Please stick to your evidence posts. These posts are a judgement and a judgment is not of god it’s of satan. We as members are in no way shape or form supposed to judge.

Michael, I’m a fan of both you and your work, but instead of making a judgmental video like this (yes I said it), why not actually ASK people WHY they are not taking the vaccine even after these statements. You might be surprised at the answers and you’ll have a better understanding from there.

Sorry I know too many people injured by the jab. I took the question to the Lord and the answer was no. Now people in church are treating me like a leper but they seem to forget that Jesus spent a lot of time with lepers.

I remember reading about prophets of God that appointed men that became corrupt overtime. Prophets that failed as parents and raised sons that became corrupted. Prophets are not perfect and never will be. If ever you need proof of this, try reading the old Testament. Focus on Samuel in your initial read through and expand out from there. You can lump Moses in. They each made mistakes while acting as prophet.

Sustaining a prophet is one thing, but following a Prophet is completely another. Following any prophet or apostle right now could be a very devastating decision upon your overall health…

The only thing more surprising than how poorly this aged, is that this video is from 10 months ago when it was already totally clear the vaccines were not "80 to 90% effective"

I’m a huge Michael P fan. I’ve been a member of the restored church for just a few short years. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ has become everything in my life. Michael, I appreciate you so very much and the work you have done to help people like me understand true gospel principles has been amazing in my life. With that, I’m going to have to push back on the information in this video and I want to explain why I have the extreme opposite view as you in my understanding of the whole “Covid thing“. Before we act on or react to anything we must first determine whether or not the thing is true. Just because someone is saying some thing it doesn’t mean that what they are saying is factual. We have been conditioned for many decades to believe that we can turn on the radio or the television in order to learn truth, to understand what is happening in the world. Nothing could be farther from the truth, literally. If we first understand that Satan is real and he has a real team working for him and with him to help him achieve his goals, then we can start to understand why there is so much deception in the world today. What is Satan‘s ultimate goal anyway? Satan has literally said precisely what he plans to do in order to fight God and his plan. He made the claim that he would use money to buy up power and influence, specifically military power and religious influence, and then ultimately “reign with blood and horror on the earth“. If we don’t fully understand what he said and what he is referring to, we have essentially missed the boat entirely. Were those claims just something Satan said off the cuff? Or did he really mean it? You better believe that he really means it. Satan‘s entire goal is to completely take free agency away from mankind. That’s been his goal from the very beginning, even from our pre earth life. Two of his main goals are to take our freedoms away and to completely disassemble the family unit. Instead of believing everything we hear on TV we need to first figure out if what we are being told is true. If Cove it is real then we should proceed in a certain direction. If Covid is not real then we should first understand that we are being lied to. So, who are the liars and what are they wanting us to believe? Early on in all of this nonsense I began to question everything. In late 2019 and early 2020 I could tell the television narrative was really pushing the idea of something catastrophic. Historically television has shaped peoples ideas and their perception of reality. The television pushing a scary narrative saying that millions could die because of a bat and a monkey and a little Chinese guy… It just made no sense at all to me. But people I work with were extremely nervous and they all hovered around the TV waiting to see what they should do next. They were doing exactly what we were all trained to do, go to the source of lies and wait to be lied to some more. Pavlov’s Dogs. I was fortunate enough to meet a man in California that has 45 years of virology and epidemiology background. He told me specifically that this supposed virus has never been isolated or identified. Do you realize what that means? It means that it does not exist. It means that everything we have been told by the media is simply untrue and that it is being used to drive a certain agenda. Whose agenda? Satan‘s agenda, of course. So, if we go along with the agenda we are going along with Satan‘s plan. And the liars and deceivers work specifically for Satan himself, to further his wishes to overcome the Saints and deceive everyone in his path. So when Satan and his people say it’s a good idea to wear a mask, I decline. And when Satan and his deceivers say they are working on a cure for this nonexistent pandemic, a pandemic that only exists on television, the only thing I believe they are working on is a way to greater control people, by taking away more of their free agency. And this non-vaccine wasn’t developed in 10 1/2 months, it was in the process of being developed since 1980. Possibly even before. It contains Graphene Oxide, hydrogel and nano particles. It has absolutely nothing to do with protecting anyone from anything. Proven safe and effective? Yes it is proven, it is proven to genetically modify the human body, for Satan‘s purposes. Safe? Heavens no, it is absolutely not safe and has killed literally millions of people already. But look at the other unsafe implications of getting this horrible injection, that of following Satan and doing as he wishes, and helping him to further his agenda. That is very unsafe to our spiritual core. The Scriptures tell us to avoid even the very appearance of evil, so why in the world would we ever want to support Satan‘s agenda and take Satan‘s vaccine? Again, completely unsafe. Affective? No, not effective at all in protecting a person from catching or transmitting any disease of any kind, but yes, very effective in helping Satan‘s agenda to be furthered by deceiving people and coercing them into taking an injection that forces chemical technology underneath their skin. This whole thing has to do with the deal that Satan made with Cain, The power that Satan gave him and the secret organization that was started between them. It’s the same organization that is exposed in the book of Mormon as the Gadianton Robbers, and it’s the same organization that secretly exists in the shadows today. All for the purpose of helping Satan‘s organization completely control and manipulate all of mankind, affectively removing our ability to make choices. I do not wear a mask and I will not wear a mask, as I understand that wearing a mask is an outward showing of compliance. Compliance to who and what? In this case it’s showing compliance to Satan and his plan to rule the world. To reign with blood and horror on the earth. I am so sorry that so many people don’t understand these things. I am so sorry that the brethren at the top of the Lords church don’t see this for what it is. They have truly fulfilled the scripture, Matthew chapter 24 where it clearly states that before the second coming of our Savior that the deception would be so great that even the elect could be deceived. I certainly except completely the fact that the Lord‘s one true church is on the earth. I sustain the profit and all of the apostles, but they choose to not follow any man. This whole “follow the prophet“ thing is dangerous. We are specifically told to never trust in the arm of flesh. And no where in the scripture does it tell us to follow a Prophet, ever. Again, I sustain the brethren but I only follow my Father in Heaven, His son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Revelation 13:7 has also been fulfilled. Satan has made war with the Saints and “overcome them“. And it will only get worse from here… Until our Savior returns to right all of this wrong.

🤷‍♂️ Prophets are fallible humans who are also susceptible to FEAR. These are not words of inspiration and it changes nothing for my faith.

The LDS church stopped trusting in their God many many years ago, and instead trust in man, and change their doctrines based on fear and government pressure. The Lord promised those who trusted in him would be protected against the plagues and pandemics in the last days, but instead the leaders trust in the arm of the flesh in fear they will lose their tax exemption status. The temples do NOT need to be open, they are just buildings. "Do ye not remember, that YE are a temple of God, wherefore I may dwell therein."

I love how you take the written words literally when it comes to BOM evidence, this is why I’m subscribed to your channel. My question to you, what do you think about 3 Nephi chapter 6 and Isaiah chapter 28? If you take those words literally the church goes astray in the last days. Keep up the good work on the BOM.

I got polio from a polio vaccine when I was 5 years old. I was in the hospital & at that time my parents were investigating the Church. My Dad asked the Elders to give me a blessing...I was promised that according to my faith, I would be able to live a normal life & do normal things. That blessing saved my life and I went on to live normally except for some muscle weakness & low stamina. I was even able to have 7 children. Although now I have what they call post-polio syndrome. I know that vaccines do some good but this covid vaccine was not tested properly. There are so many people having all kinds of crazy side effects. What if one of your children had a bad reaction & you almost lost her or him? Would you let her ever take another one? We have been lied to by the pharmaceutical companies. I love Pres. Nelson & sustain him. But he has been lied to as well & has great faith in the medical model, which, I admit, has done a lot of good. But did you know that medical malpractice or mistakes or reactions to medicines kill over 100,000 people each year? I was a nurse for 30+ years & had little faith in the system even then. But I have even less confidence in it now.

As a person that worked from home, I did not take an inoculation for this virus. When I went to the Grocery store... I did wear a TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT mask.

Wearing a mask was really no big deal. I'd rather be able to attend church then be arrested for trying to attend church. I saw all this as our church leaders trying their best to navigate the iron grips of controling governments from all over the world to continue Christ's work.

Amazing how world-wide, or at least in the US we went from not enough vaccinated (Oct 2021) to enough (Mar 2022). Was it the coercive nature of threatening people they would loose jobs, the acknowledgement that the initial strain vaccine was no longer effective at preventing spread of later variants (if it ever was) even among groups with very high vaccination rates, or that Omicron basically hit so many other people and naturally acquired immunity was finally accepted? I have relations representing a range of political leanings who were vaccine hesitant or resistant and some who were test-group eager. They all have their reasons. I chose to get the initial doses based on my risk factors despite having younger male cousins who had cases of myocarditis after getting vaccinated. What an interesting world and time. I have a testimony it is all in the Lord's hands, including the training, background, and personal inclinations of our current prophet. I try not to lay my potential illness at another's feet and I strive to not claim my sins are 'better' than theirs. I appreciate the content you've shared. Thank you! Be well and be happy.

Unfortunately, the Prophet's statement appears to be in error. I understand to trust the Lord over men. However, there is significant and strong evidence to challenge his statement. Joseph Smith has said, that "...a Prophet is still a man." He also prefaced his statements in a manner indicating, ' The Lord directed him..., or he was commanded to..., and other similar statements to ensure where the devine messages came from. Today, I have questions of the presidency. But I doubt not the Lord, nor Our Heavenly Father.

So who listened to the lying prophets? 2 Chronicles 18:21 (KJV) And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out, and do even so.

The whole basis of this church is to ask god. Do not take my word for it do not take his word for it. Ask god. This does not mean to blindly follow the prophet on worldly subjects. Not every word of the prophet is word of god. Do not judge others because they received an answer to not take it. You do not know their situation/health.

Pretty brave to leave this up on your channel. This has aged terribly.

Will you follow the traditions of your tribe or will you follow the prophet? Members of the church put their faith in committees, conspiracy theories, political parties, news pundits, etc over the living prophet. I followed the prophet and will continue to do so.

Following this counsel of the Prophet is less about validifying the "science" and more about being humbly obedient to God's commandments in the face of lack of understanding the real purposes; and resolving the fears of those who have influence over our freedoms. At the Apr 2019 Conference (1 year before the illness became an issue) President Nelson commented about repentance in the terms of the "Metaneos" Greek definition meaning "Change" and stated we will need to change the way we need to "breath" as the the Greek word is used. This was no doubt in reference to the a Prophet being the Prophet and prophesying what was ahead of us in these next few years. Those, who can, need to follow the guidance and counsel as given by the prophets. And have mercy on those who can not.
