When I look up the age via google it says that the average age is people in their 30s. However, I think that there is definitely a younger crowd that is around because of all of the colleges in the area! I think many people stay in the area! ❤️

Hmm, you will get a much broader diversity in downtown Greenville restaurants that’s for sure! However, I think if you get out and about in Greer your should check out my other Greer videos! Especially the one about Greers best kept secret (Cartwright FoodHall 🤫) it’s one of the places I have Jamaican food for the first time as well as some of the best Cajun around at White Wine and Butter!

This is definitely important to look into. And this is what I tell most people… Everywhere has some sort of crime rate. My husband has been a cop for 90% of our relationship and I’ve seen and heard much first hand because of that. I honestly would put Greer as one of the “safer” areas to live in the area. Their property values stay high, the schools stay highly rated, there is a lot of industry in Greer, so lots of jobs. I would also say are you in the Greenville County side of Greer or the Spartanburg county side of Greer. Very different areas concerning neighborhoods, etc. Just my two cents :) hope that helps!

Oh my word! Yes! So, during the warmer months there are various farmers markets around you can get the BEST groceries and other foods. There is also a fantastic grocery called The Tomato Vine outside of downtown by Furman you must check out! I also would say google "farm to table grocery, Greenville" and lots of great places to shop! Then there are. many local restaurants that I think you will find great options at as well! My parents neighbors are Vegan so I can ask them for suggestions too!

Respectfully, I would say the term "housing crash" is incorrect. There is nothing to crash. The Greer/Greenville/Upstate markets are historically very strong and we've had low inventory for so long that our buyer traffic is still very strong. Now, we have seen a stabilizing, or a slight slow down of the market of up to 5-10%. I've seen it in my own listings, however, even the overpriced homes are still selling eventually. Then also looking at what's happening with affordability, interest rates, inventory, what the fed is currently doing, the next year should be be pretty stable. At the height of the great recession and the housing crash of '08-'12 the Greenville market only saw about a 31-33% shift to distressed sales and depreciation. Much much stronger than the rest of the country. =) Hope this info helps.
