I grew up in Cushing and my husband was working at Saint Francis. We talked about moving to Bixby in five years, but that happened quicker than we thought. We moved here in eight years ago and we love it. We live in the country of south Broken Arrow and right by Bixby line, so I can go either way. The schools, yes they're good. That's another reason we moved here. But now we homeschool, which is a blessing. We're an hour from family and an hour from Lake Tenkiller =) Love it, love it. Thanks for highlighting our town. Thank you for weighing in. One of my friends is the superintendent at Cushing. I love hearing you love Bixby. I need to check out Lake Tenkiller I haven’t been there in years. I think the home schooling options have come a long way. I have several friends and clients who home school.
I think the tribes own the land where they want to put another bridge. It's in the news about every 5 years and still hasn't been resolved. It's 2024 now and more businesses are moving in and the traffic is even worse now. I do love Bixby but do most of my shopping in south BA. It's so much faster to get to for me. Also I use Yale Sheridan or Garnett or get to south Tulsa and sometimes that is so much faster! The schools are pretty good but with all of the growth have noticed some changes since we moved in 2010. I believe they still are a higher quality than other area districts.❤
Yes, Oklahoma is one of only thirteen states that has a tax for groceries. It is currently at 8.52% I believe. Is there anything specifically you would like to see on Bixby, or general info?
Just saw your video. I know of a house that is a steal. Do you do finders fees? I guarantee you this is a great deal if you have people in other cities looking for a house. I live in Broken Arrow.
