There’s actually 4 commuter rail stations. I grew up in Needham and can honestly say I’m one of the luckiest people in the world. Needham is the greatest town in the country and I had the greatest childhood in Needham. I grew up on (my opinion) the greatest st in the greatest town. I grew up on Coolidge Ave one of the ladder streets ❤

Thanks for the trip to my past, as I grew up in Needham, too many years ago. I agree with almost everything you say about the town. I attended Mitchell Elementary School (great school then and I hope now!), and am pleased to hear that Michelson's is still shoe-ing the residents. Three additional pros that I want to accent is that (1) the town library is beyond excellent, with a great location right downhill from the high school, (2) its hospital is a branch of Beth Israel Deaconess (to me a real asset for the town), and (3) if still produced in the manner when I lived there, the most outstanding 4th of July fireworks in the surrounding area, to the extent that than the town's population would double as the fireworks display in front of the high school was wonderful.
