Yea this is top tier stuff I recommended Porsche to pretty much everyone. And I always tell people if you’re truly rich, don’t even bother playing with the BMWs and Audis to save that 20k, go for a Porsche if possible every time

Wow thought I was the only one lmao. Wife got a 21’ Macan GTS last November. Remember one of our first trips on the freeway I didn’t notice I was going 85 MPH for over 30 min. Compared to my 17’ C43 - anything over 70 MPH feels like I’m zooming

@@jaeb4743 Your wife obviously has good taste! Her car is essentially the same as the Macan S that I own with 375 HP and adaptive air suspension, so I know exactly how you feel at speed on the highway. My only suggestion is to use cruise control, especially if her car is equipped with adaptive cruise control, which is amazing. Compared with my previous 2008 MazdaSpeed 3, this car feels like a space ship calmly cruising the galaxy at speed. LOL!

Yea my friend 911 is really something else but as you discovered, can’t really do anything with it to be exciting on public roads

Massive congrats on owning a GTS model! Yea Porsche is just the no compromise choice and if one has the money to buy it, it’s well worth the premium over the other Euro cars. A 911 owner commented saying that the GTS truly does feel like a 911 on stilts. Enjoy my friend 👍

Yea my friend I still think it’s important to get a discount on new vehicles to ensure a higher chance of equity but car prices are also dropping which doesn’t help with resale. @@MeynMotorGroup Yeah, I bought just as the market for Macans was softening a bit... I thought supply would stay tight, but suddenly Porsche started shipping a ton of base models (my local dealer had two when I bought, now has over 20). I traded it for an M340. My main problem with the Macan was the engine didn't sound good to me and even though it is a small SUV, it wasn't that much more practical (partly my fault because I didn't get roof rails or a hitch... I assumed you could screw cross bars on top like in BMW's). For me, the M340 is almost perfect!

@@asglovere yes I’ve noticed a lot of base macans but other Porsche models seem scarce. Massive congrats on the M340i! Those are some wickedly fast cars. Very happy that you have one and are enjoying it, cheers!

If you don't mind, did you do a private sale for the Macan or returned it to the dealership? I plan to buy a new car and want to be smart with the purchase. Say, I don't like it, I don't want to later figure out I could have gotten the car on a nice discount. What did you negotiate on to get a discount on a brand new vehicle?

@@fishraider7897 Hey, I traded my Macan into the BMW dealership where I bought my M340, but I got bids from all over the place and they matched the highest. In terms of discounts, brokers and Leasehackr are getting 7% off on base Macans these days. Last summer dealers were asking for markups, but I negotiated mine to MSRP. Honestly, I would suggest thinking hard about what you need in a vehicle. If you need an SUV for practicality, I'd get something a bit bigger/boxier or at least make sure your Macan has a hitch (they are insanely expensive to install after market). If you want something sporty and fun to drive then I'd get a sedan. No matter what the reviews say, the Macan just doesn't drive as well as a sports sedan because it is heavier and lifted higher off of the ground. And for the price of a lightly optioned base Macan you can get a brand new M340, CPO M3 from last generation, CPO C43 (maybe even CPO C63 if you're lucky), Cadillac CT4-V BW, Giulia Quads... I've driven all of them and they are worlds better to drive than a Macan (and all but the CT4-V BW and Giulia are just as practical).

Hey my friend yes I did and actually I wanted to reach out to you because I talked to Auto Companion about your NX a few weeks ago and he got in touch with the dealer. They said the reason why your nx is taking so long is because it is loaded up with options so all the loaded hybrid NXs are taking about a year. (Also reach out to AC yourself and the dealer when you get a chance for more updates on your car) I think AC is working on getting Mazda but they don’t have it yet. There are other brokers that offer Mazda if you want one but I would first just start out with asking your local dealer if they will give you 10% off on a new Mazda. It’s possible your local dealer could honor that discount. Main reason to use a broker is to get discounts on vehicles that are hard to negotiate on like Lexus or this Porsche here. I would say since you waited this long, your car is probably almost done being made. If you back out now the dealer will easily sell it to another customer but you will loose half your broker fee with AC for backing out. But if you are ok with loosing half the broker fee consider first reaching out to your local mazda dealers about getting 10% off msrp and if they absolutley won’t budge then at that point I would look into contacting a broker regarding a Mazda. Aronchi is another Broker that deals with Acura, he’s got good deals on MDX and he does not charge a broker fee for Acura deals. Something else to consider.

I actually tried calling my closest Mazda dealer to inquire and one of the 1st things I asked is if we would negotiate from msrp down, and the woman said that with the new cx90, they were charging a markup. I said that would be a deal breaker as I am not willing to do that. So that's the kind of dealer they are. I am willing to look outside my circle if need be. You mentioned they might honor 10% discount but i'm confused on what basis? I wish. I like the new cx90 but I didn't want something that big. I would like the cx70 that's coming later on in the year. Maybe by then AC will be working with Mazda. I'm actually liking the new mazdas over the NX. I am just not sure of the reliability. But fit& finish, 340 hp and 369 pd ft of t. Rear wheel biased. It appears I would be getting a lot more car for the money. I could see myself landing a cx70 top trim loaded for about 5k lower than the nx hybrid luxury. If I have to lose half of the AC fee, at this point I am just trying to make the best decision possible. Truth be told, I like the NX but I always felt like it wasn't providing the same level of luxury for the same money that a ES300h Ultra Luxury is. Now it looks like the Mazda might provide this. So any input you can give me is highly appreciated. Thanks again Kevin.

@@josefernandez2722 oh you wanted a CX90 yea there’s no chance of any discount for that 😅😂 I was thinking you wanted a CX-5 or CX-9 dealers are blowing those out for great deals but CX90 is too new so no deals on that and probably never. MSRP is your best bet on those. Yea new NX is good and a massive improvement over the previous Gen NX but ES300h is a noticeably higher quality vehicle still. Sadly ES is a sedan with seats that don’t fold so just depends if that will work for you or not. If it did work I think AC would be able to get you into one. But keep in mind any Lexus order with high options will take a long time to build right now. I do agree with you, buy the vehicle that will 100% meet your needs and leave you satisfied.

@@josefernandez2722 I would only buy like a base model CX-5 with an NA engine if I was going to keep for longevity. But I never do keep for longevity because I hate asking the question that’s why I strictly lease. But I wouldn’t mind taking a chance on a base cx-5

78k is the starting price? Oh wow that’s steep. Starts around $60k for a base Macan but with options I got a well equipped Base to $72k, T trim at $75k, and an S at $82k

@@alengreen589 yea but that has absolutely no options in it. Just includes destination which has been going up gear by year, they are charging $1600 for destination when like 2 years ago it was $1300

Yea this isn’t ideal and in general even with porsche had their massive stack of buttons, I didn’t like that either. I prefer the Mazda approach to infotainment with the dials, buttons, and sperate temp read outs. Mazda continues to offer a sleek looking interior too despite the use of practical buttons.

@@Excalabur50 yep only car company to tell the truth. Granted their cars are so expensive they have enough profit margin to make some buttons. I guess more importantly every other mainstream manufacturer has their little agenda of driverless EV turds and they want us to be prepared little by little with these touch screens and get us ready for future windshield screen tech

It's better than the other Euro cars every car drops in value they all suck in that regard

@@theodoreyoung8777 yea EVs are still in their beta stage and have a long way to go. Now that real car makers started to produce them they got better but what I’ve noticed recently bro is some car makes are starting to really make their engines and transmissions suck almost as if it were on purpose to make their EVs sell. Like the Q8 I just tested feels like trash and it’s a flagship from Audi. Maybe there is something wrong with my test vehicle but I’m not happy with that experience
