Kevin , nick , nick and myself hit a new creek in search of a location to dredge further in the season. good times and gold was found. #californiagoldrush #golddredge #prospectorstheory
Good to see you back out on creek, that was some sweet bedrock!!dredging ain't cheating,it's working smarter!!😉 good work my friend, that gold looked chunky!! Thanks for the adventure, heavy pans!!
Lol not cheating and definitely alot more effort then walking down with a sluice and pan that's for dang sure lol 😆. And its actually tiring in a weird way.
Lol 😆 I don't have heat yet 😅. But to be honest I have a pretty nice set up as far as head to toe scuba gear now. Double 7 /7m suit , 5m boots , 3m socks , 5m hood , 5m gloves I was in the water at 6am Saturday morning it was maybe 40 deg water at that point and I was fine even my hands and feet were warm those are the first thing "very fast" that gets cold for me.
Thank you 😊 and they haven't stopped much ...... you just can't get caught lol kind of like talking on the phone while driving. We do it when the time comes.
Good to know! Just not many around me i see them traveling though. I think rite now with the rising gas prices it was more there was also only one 4cyl left and a ton of 50:1 . Gas is on the rise it will be 5 or 6$ this summer
68th 👍 bro. I see a small creek setup need w the dredge. Smaller buoys or something,. That's a BEAST u got for a small creek. Did the thing though. One day, hope to meet all the cool kids on the block.😉 Yall get some damn fine gold.
Lol plenty of big rivers around here...... this was a test area and our camp "where dredging mite not be legal" lol 😆 To be honest I would have expected the water to be at least another foot higher with all the snow run off and backed by rain over the last month or so. I could have beached the box and run that way but I didn't feel comfortable doing that my suction hose isn't long enough and if I moved around to much with it off the floats it would move the box for sure. I'm thinking about having some brackets welded on my frame so that in this situation I can take the floats off my frame and slide in legs similar to a highbanker set up that way even in summer summer here where water goes up and down during the day I can stay running.
Loads of nice big pickers. 👌🏻 that plastic sluice is looking very good, I'm tempted to get one but I've already got 2 6inch sluices and no team players 😢😂 ⚒🏴
@@GramCanyonSam one of them has 4 metal riffles that screw into the mesh but I'm still trying to get the hang of setting it up properly. You lot make it look like you just dap it in the water and away you go but I'm struggling with mine. 😂😂 thanks for getting back to me with advice. I really appreciate it and need all the help I can get 😂👍🏻⚒🏴
@@GramCanyonSam just let me know and ill be there, maine where ive done a bit of prospecting, n.h. where i live and prospect and vermont where id love to try. any time this summer day trip or more. do have a gold dog as well
I wish you could too ..... then I'd be able to there someday lol ! Unfortunately its highly regulated on usa ground also. Some of the best gold deposit states they are illegal including California where I do 50% of my yearly mining. ....... not saying it doesn't happen but its not easy for them and if one gets caught they take your dredge and hit you with a massive fine to pay. Buuuuuuut there is many places it can be used also and the northeast where I grew up actually hosts some amazing gold and there is a fraction of people mining it due to the amount of population and private land and lack of knowledge of there still being gold . So the northeast and east coast south is on the list this summer
@@GramCanyonSam awesome mate, I'm looking forward to seeing the videos. I'm hanging out to get to the spot where I'm finding heaps of Specimen Gold, some of it just crubbles away from the quartz so I'll definitely be collecting the material and running it through the highbanker or clean up sluice. Will be a great video too ey 😂
That was awsome seeing you dredging! And I haven't been confident enough in a drop riffle sliuce yet to run cons but it works well 😎 had no idea Vermont had gold like that,I really enjoyed this your living the life thanks buddy 👍like #35
I'm excited to actually bring it to good ground next trip everything is working great. As for Vermont thats where 90% of my gold had come from before going west and up until recently the northeast had produced my biggest pcs. Lol I'm gonna have a hard time beating a 1oz pc here but I can definitely come across 5 to 15 gram pcs. Gold is also 23k here very nice 👌.
I think once I'm actually in nugget County over here I'm going to stumble on something! I've put in countless hours of footwork and research to this area even more then norcal . The dredge was a missing pc so many times now the theory will play it self out
$20 a gallon holy shit.. You can get it in Florida for the same price as premium Pump gas At the pump.. You can also get 110 Also for less than $20 a gallon
