It's day 3 of my treatment for a possible recurrence of prostate cancer, and while this day was for me just like the other two, today I went on a bit of an eating fest, to satisfy my great hunger. Have a look.

Hi Mark I have been following your stories I did get prostate cancer not too long ago My cancer is very aggressive is 4+5 in glenson score but the good new is that it is only located in the prostate according researches done so I and going to do a Bean Radiation treatment. I was first considering and operation but the University of Miami Sylvester Hospital recommended the Bean Radiation option, the Doctor was telling me that a lot of person that chose the operation ended doing the Bean Radiation treatment because many times the operation does not remove all the cancer cells

Hi Mark. I want to thank you for your videos. I started watching them before my prostatectomy in the spring of 2019. I had my surgery in early April and we thought that everything was a success, but I had a recurrence only 10 months later. This was a bit shocking to me, and the decision was made to start radiation therapy. I had 39 radiation sessions in 2020, and have been undetectable since. If I'm honest, I do fear having the cancer return, because I would pretty much be SOL at that point. But what this has all taught me is to stay in the present moment (That's all we ever have anyway, no?) I can't spend my life worrying that it is going to return, because I could die in a car accident or some other cause. Thanks again for sharing your experience. I wish you all the best for a successful treatment. I am also a member of your Facebook page. Remain strong and hold on to your positive attitude.

Although one currently has to exhaust other efforts before receiving this recently-approved course of treatment, Lutetium-177 (Lu-177) PSMA therapy (Pluvicto) targets distant sites of psma-expressing PC. I’m wondering if this innovation will shortly be the immediate go-to therapy (rather than external beam radiation) for individual sites identified via the ground-breaking PSMA PET CT scans.

Is this more recent than the Pylarify PSMA test?

Yes, approved March of 2022. Radiotherapy drug attracted to PSMA-expressing cells. In the same fashion as PSMA PET CT (Pylarify) radioactive tracer is attracted to PSMA-expressing cells. Trials being conducted to see if it could be used immediately after a PSMA scan and in tandem with subsequent targeted radiation. You'll find this PCRI video to be quite relevant (I think). Starts around the 9 minute mark (bypasses earlier discussion of current use of Lutetium/Pluvicto). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GJJ9Ddji4Xc.html

Thank you for sharing so my husband had his prostate removed his first PSA number was not undetectable so he had some radiation followed by hormone therapy. The first blood test was great undetectable now that he’s off hormone therapy. His blood test number was 02.1 is this something to get very nervous about? He does have a follow up tomorrow with his doctor.

So, a few months after surgery, his PSA was 2.10?

I had no clue you were on a keto or low carb diet. I’ve been of this diet for now almost 5 years but must be honest my last year was more of Low Carb. With all the news received in 2022 about me having Prostate Cancer made me enjoy some foods that had been removed from my diet for quite some time. I do most of the time now a low carb diet with intermittent fasting and will see how far this will last. Don’t feel guilty with your breakfast this morning as I’m sure it was very sain for your mental state. By the way you will need to invite me to your area when Its time for a cheat meal as we don’t have any of the Waffle house place in Montreal, Canada. 😂. Keep strong. Eric ❤

@@prostatecancerexperience OMG 😱 No way ….look at you full of surprises. It will be a pleasure to invite someone living with the same problem at Cora 😂. For your info as much as Cora was a big thing now it’s been surpassed with so many other amazing breakfast place. Hope your treatment goes well again today and will wait to see your next video. Au Revoir 👋
