i think it's great to get tutorials that are actually about episode length rather then 3-4 minutes like most others

1) Holy moly Rails' makeup is amazing and must take FOREVER to do before the show and 2) What a fantastically informative and well done video. Well done Wayside and Rails!

I love this series! Even as a filmmaker who really doesn't deal with make-up, myself, it's really interesting! I found myself sitting through this 25 minute video no problem. Ralis is a great instructor, too! You can definitely hear his passion for make-up in the way he demonstrates these techniques! Great job guys!!!

Great stuff, guys! This really makes it a lot less intimidating to do those practical effects. Though, much like watching Norm Abrams on HGTV, when someone has been doing it as long as Ralis, I imagine it looks a lot easier. Keep 'em coming!

@BakuShinigami I once did quick scales like this: Put some colored make up (I used water based) on the area you want to have the scales on. Then I took a bit of flexible cloth netting and stretched it over the make up. After that I sprayed a bit of gold colored hair paint spray stuff over it. Looks pretty nice and can be done in like 10 minutes.

AWESOME STUFF!!! I never knew so much work went into a single bullet hole prosthetic. As cool as this is..., Has Ralis ever appeared without makeup? I guess thats like taking the mask off the Lone Ranger and tugging on Superman's cape - but is there any video of him without his makeup persona?

The prosthetic transfers are actually easier to see against your black jacket than the white paper.

@mathijssmith you can hand paint then on with the alcohol activated make ups or cut stencils and airbrush them

Couple things. 1-You spent a loong time explaining what the back of temptattoos explain in four steps. XD Just saying, that bit I already understood how to do, ya know? 2-Did anyone else notice the moving....thing in the bottem right corner while he was doing the makeup? Anyone at all? 3-Love the black outfit. =3 4-I think the curiosity of seeing how long of the those prosthetics will stay on is awesome. =3 Totally something I would do, so, Props, Ralis, for having it on for 7 days/8 showers

Do you think you could do an episode on other type of prosthesis like for Fur or scales that look more real cause i know as far as fur go's it is very hard to find one that looks real

I would ask for more but I know that doing this stuf for us is not cheap. Ralis thank you so much for letting some of learn the neat ways you make movie magic. @MrGrevanar thank you but for what i was thinking of doing i think i would need something more along the lines of how they might of done Mystique something like full body or the upper half of the body at least done like that i have a dragon like creature i would like to be able to dress up as that does wear at least pants so wouldn't need full body but main concern about this is around the eyes if i can make that look real the rest of it will fall into place

how do you use the tattoo transfer paper for fake tattoo's do you use make up or waterbasd paint or .....? I mean I guess you make the disign first by pen, and the collor it in with make up. but...
