Well heller was more intelligent here: consuming his strongest enemy. I don't see why Alex didn't consume the supreme Hunter in the first game, imagine how powerful he would be

Sure, Mercer might've gotten more powerful, but the Supreme Hunter is the parasite that ate away his biomass. If he had consumed the Supreme Hunter, who's to say that it can't come back alive and try to kill him again?

@@gravesitenull The Parasite and the Supreme Hunter are NOT the same lmao, and even if you were correct, Mercer cured himself of the Parasite, so technically any backfire against him wouldn't work.

Playing Prototype 2 for the first time these days,im so sad to end this game its so good,alex's fanboys destroyed this game "heller sucks" etc. Alex may be better but part 2 is for gameplay better than 1st part (newer yeah and more game logical) Imagine 3rd part and others how would look like 😞

Just beat the game, shame it will never get a sequel, prototype 1 was only good because of the gameplay, but this manages to be better both on gameplay and history, loved the game!

@@ChristianProtossDragoon lol i understood it the other way around, challenge wise, for me at least, prototype 1 is better for the thing i mentioned above jusy my humbe opinion cause I like challenge on games i play, like god of war for example, when done right hard can be pretty fun! prototype 2 is the better game as a whole tho, the gameplay is a bit easier and the final battle for example is easier than the supreme hunter, but still as a whole game is better, story wise Im sure both should be at the same level

I hardly realize anything and I hope that there are people who read this because ... At what point were we told that Mercer recovered his past memories? Didn't we realize that he has memories of him when he was a child or used to spend time with his sister? In any case, or is it a plot error, or maybe what we killed was not Mercer himself? (I used translator in case you ask. Xd)

Alex quedó en un estado de muerte clínica (no estaba completamente muerto ya que el virus no consume biomasa muerta) y eso produjo daño cerebral que le dió amnesia, esos recuerdos perdidos se podían recuperar con "palabras clave" como fue el caso de Robert Cross (en el primer juego cuando lo infecta con el parásito)

Mercer was suffering from a mental disorder after being turned into the Blacklight Virus, making him forget about his past, but he didn't forget them completely, he had flashes of his distant memories when someone talked about it. Example: Captain Cross talking to Mercer about Penn Station, and he kneels to the ground in pain while having flashes of his old memories that he forgot.

1: that’s not the real Alex, the real Alex is actually dead it’s just the virus took over his personality and everything. 2: The reason why Virus Alex is a villain bc he hates people doin like evil deeds n shitz so now he wants to give people a “second chance” just by spreading the virus across the world

Prototype had 2 very short comic runs published by DC. The first run reveals more background information about Greene, Blackwatch, Hope, Idaho, and the viruses. The second run is where Alex falls in love with a former criminal's daughter, who shoots Alex in the head and takes his money. He consumes her, and that's the final straw for him. There's some stuff that happened before that, but that's probably the most important reason.
