They're spending their time figuring out how much they can make the game suck and what they can sell to you without it being obvious they're selling the ability to play and have fun back to you instead of this.
@@kaimikelgrahamornelas7085 neuralink is making progress but it is still going to take time before it's used outside of the medical field. Valve and Facebook are the leaders of innovation in VR right now imo, maybe apple as well.
Smaller spools, put the spools on the back of the hand instead of secured at the wrist. Second spool on forearm to the back of the hand to track flexion towards self. Bands connected to the palm-side balls of each finger running back to device on forearm to track outward extension of the hand and rotation. Programming be the real problem
Hey man, keep doing your great work! It's really nice to see people so passionate about VRTech. You're being a part of the foundation of the future of VR.
@@yahiataha2352 it’s actually kind of sad because I can imagine this guy seeing the Oculus Quest 3 trailer and going…. “Well there goes years of my hard work. Guess I’m done now.”
@@Pizza_Dude1920 The wires could actually function as "resistance bands". Like, holding an apple, and the wires creating tension and not letting you go further, in the shape of the apple. In other words, simulating touch rather than just hand tracking (Plus, Quest 3's hand tracking is still not perfect)
@@varindred what? That is just a headset with some controllers bro. This is an actual glove that tracks it in real time. Not some controller you hold and click buttons to operate fingers. This is far more advanced and is much like what we see more of in the future
This is gonna be awesome for the deaf community in vr chat. I know they have a special dialect for vrc, but i cant help but feel like this will still be a huge boon for them
Dude I haven’t watched this video in years, I’m so glad I found it again, my once-was friend actually remade these gloves and were actually pretty cool
@@oureous446 Yea Peter is basically Stark but without the excessive charisma and overblown ego of Stark, but just as, if not more smart. Also he had his own business akin to Stark Industries.
@@Ixe2077 I wouldn’t say he’s smarter than Stark, as intelligence ranges in knowledge as well. Stark knew more about a lot of topics that Parker has no idea about.
@@LucasVRTech You NEED to keep working on this. Seriously, this is the type of shit that will make VR have an even wider appeal to general audiences. Try to talk to Oculus, or Sony, or SOMEONE about this! This is some seriously future shit!
Bro the fact that Quest 2 (and probably 3) added hand tracking 💀 This man worked so hard for nothing 😢 “All that work and what did it get me? Why did I do it?”
this is going to make deaf vr chat so much better since normal hand tracking devices are restrictive in the way that you can sign and you have to use them differently
Didn't even think of that but yeah this would be great for teaching sign language through vr and for the deaf community to get into it easier without needing text to scroll through their vision breaking their immersion
@@BladeOfDespairr it's gonna happen, and I'd prefer that over people shouting the N word in their mics and crap. Thankfully i play games where the community is close knit and we boot people who do that
@@rockandguts7877 I think he's talking about the haptic bodysuit or whatever it's called, but the problem is that its only for like if you get shot you feel it but it doesn't move your body. So the glove is still better
No it’s not. Someone sampled the Gravity Falls theme song and made a beat out of it. It’s like taking the color blue and using it to paint part of a picture. Blue was only 1 color used, just like the sample is only one element of the beat. Listen and there’s much more than the theme song to gravity falls
@@Ruffles_The_Rivuletyeah, it’s like when instead of “you” people would say “ya” or “u”, I know it’s on purpose for the word “you” but it’s just.. you know
@@fanglo yea, i understand why people say "u", probably just to save time. but i mean like what is the purpose of spelling "does" as "dose" because dose are and does are literally both 4 letters!! For some reason it makes me so mad.. but it's probably just a pet peeve of mine lmao
It's pretty solid idea, This could actually increase realistic effect when you touch an item inside the game where the haptic gloves puts resistance when you try to close your hands imitating the shape of an object via resistance from the haptic gloves.
It won't. The developers wouldn't allow the threshold of the string to pull your fingers back past a certain point. They obviously think of these things before releasing it to consumers or else they'd face a major lawsuit.
GTA 5 VR edition would be even cooler with that option. Fighting NPC’s in VR in First Person View (FPV). Yes there is a VR version of GTA5. Therefore I deleted my question.
Bro, this is exactly what I was thinking of a controller for your hands like the power glove so you can control the game with just your hand so that it can allow some games that don’t use hand, tracking to be able to have hand tracking
Bro he's been at it for long enough that his passion shows. It's a very complicated problem. Have faith, give him the time he needs to make it real. I mean, he's literally making something where other working prototypes don't have pricetags.
Gravity falls remix in the background = respect. Firs time I heard the theme song funnily enough was on OSU, I played that Gravity falls map so many times lol
