I heard a fairly famous comedian on tv describe what happens when he comes home mad, in fact he asked the audience if they too do the same thing and they clapped and laughed in agreement. He said, I walk in the door and the first thing I do is kick the dog as hard as I can and I feel so much better. I heard this several years ago yet will never forget what he said and how the audience agreed with him, agreeing and thinking it’s funny to frighten and hurt a dog. I was innocent and also stupid back then, thinking all people were good to animals.One last thing, maybe you heard about this but Sean McCoy a NFL football player, regularly abuses his young son to the point he gets hysterical when forced to visit him. He also beats his dog so severely he put him in intensive care, resulting in renal failure where the dog almost died, it would have been better if he had because he was sent back to live with McCoy. Witnesses also describe that the dog shakes uncontrollably when McCoy enters the room. Great guy huh? Check him out, he’s on tv plays NFL football every week. He should be banned for life!

Yes! My children are 8 and 5 years old, and I love showing them how remarkable and different people are. Children need to experience life's awesomeness so they can appreciate people for who they are versus initially judging their looks. Humans like her are important gems in our world, and it's really cool learning about diagnosis and adaptation.

Amanda Skeen the issue has to do with SBSK and the targeting of “kids.” RU-vid did some crazy stuff where they just required channels targeted at children to have comments disabled. I remember that the creators of SBSK were devastated about that. They had so many lovely comments there and they all vanished.

Sophie cognitive ability doesn’t determine how independent you are. She’s navigating being physically disabled, partially deaf and partially sighted. The world is not accessible to many disabled people, especially those with complex needs. Think of Stephen Hawking for example, one of the greatest minds in history but for most of his life he wasn’t able to live independently.

Shimmy Shake Steven Hawking is a very bad example to use as he was bound to a wheel chair and his illness progressed to total paralysis. She is partially deaf, has limb abnormalities but isn’t partially sighted. What I’m saying is she is more capable than people give her credit, we as a society often coddle people who are different but in actual fact she is very capable of living totally independently and that shouldn’t come as a surprise just because she looks different.

Did you seeing her cutting up the vegetables? It's not easy for her to do everyday tasks, yes she can do them but not like you can. Living independently is hard enough when you have no health issues, mental or physical, so it's an amazing thing that's she's done this herself 🙄
