Jag fick följa med ut i Ekens skärgård i Vänern på en provsegling av en Comfortina 32 en stilla sommarkväll. Jag blev fascinerad av båten och ännu mer fascinerad av Helen och Svens sätt att segla den.

Wow. Sailing is a material sport of course. My Vega would never point so much up in the wind. And of course all their sails are crisp new. At least that's what it feels from the video
Thanks for nice video. Cam ypu please tell how good is Comfort32 boat? How fast she is under sails, what is the roofheigjt in the sslon, space is enough? I ask becouse looking to buy Comfortina32, Scanmar33 or Maxi Mixer. Still dont know what boat will be better option to buy?

At 20:28 there is a short tour of the interior. I am 188 cm and I could almost stand up without hitting the roof. A person just a little bit shorter would not hit the roof. It is considered to be a fast boat in its class. According to www.maringuiden.se/batguiden/;batID=1199&battypID=7 the Lystal is 1,14, which is pretty high. To put that in context you can compare to this list: www.batsidan.com/batar/lystal.php?order=lystal I tried to google a polar diagram for Comfortina, but could not find any.
@@janisspalvins677 It depends on your previous skills and what kind of waters you are going to be sailing in. If you are new to sailing I recommend buying an IF-boat like me. Sailing is surprisingly difficult and the IF is boat a good sailing boat for the experienced sailor as well as forgiving to one that is new to sailing. It is not roomy though, but do you really need that as a beginner? Where I sail in the lake Vättern the water is very shallow in most harbors. Therefore I consider the draft of the boat. Maybe where you sail water is deeper, than you have a broader selection. Also we have 18 meter clearance under the Torsö bridge, therefor there are very few boats over 40 ft in Vättern. I found the larger boats I tried not to be better sailing boats as such, but more difficult and heavier to manage. I thought a lot of buying a bigger boat, but I am going to stick with my IF-boat. I like it better, at least for now.
@@ZingoallaIF Helli, Big Thanks for your advice. But, Im not new in sailing. I sailing.in all my life I was own 5 boats before. 4 bought and bring from Sweden. Sailing many miles in Baltic sea and was in Nort sea also with sailing yacht. My boats from Sweden was Omega28, Marieholm32E, Comfort 32, Birdie32. First was too smalll, but fast. Second was to slow, third was good, but later understand only need bigger main cabin, not need aft cabin. Birdie32 was fast boat and good space inside, boat was very good equiped with kevlar sails, bigger then orginals.But this boat my college want to buy. And this is reasom why I looking for sonething what I never own before. I looking to Comfortina32 to Albin Nova or even to something little bigger Scanmar33. But reality, I never be on any of this three boats on board and not sailing with them of course. This is reason why I ask info about Comfortina32.
@@ZingoallaIF I neber ssil IF- boat. But my friend who wsnt buy Birdie32 from.me, beforr own IF- bost he sailing solo to Sweden , cross Baltic sea couple of times. In Latvis coming.popular this Hboats. Probably similar size as IF-boat, just with fin keel. I see on some regattas, this boats win many many much bigger size boats.
Hej Richard. Jag förstår inte riktigt hur du menar? Min IF-båt är ju med i nästan alla filmer, så hur man kryssar, sätter segel och liknande finns det ju mycket film på. Jag har ingen genaker så det kan jag inte visa, men jag har ju gjort någon film med spinnakern i alla fall. Hur hade du tänkt dig?
