I really liked how the fight scene in the mud bank didn't have any music. Just them fighting and struggling gave it a cool effect, I don't know. This film was really great, loved the story and all the editing! The actors are great too!

RyGuy, this was ridiculously good. You really had some fantastic pacing and cinematography. The impact and emotion that you conveyed with some of those shots was fantastic! The dialog was probably the only thing that I would classify as weak, but I know that this project shoot was rushed and the execution of the premise was still awesome. And, though the dialog may have come across as a little uncharacteristic and simple, the acting was way better than I thought those guys were going to pull off. Seriously big props to Josh and Todd. They really were acting at a completely different level than I've seen before.

I started the film with the mindset of de-constructing the whole thing to learn from it, just analysing everything; but somewhere along the line I completely forgot about all of that and was just immersed in the story. I suddenly found myself on the edge of my seat, holding my breath!

There were parts in the middle where it was REALLY intense and that's one thing that I really like about Ryan's work. He knows how to get those emotions out of us! Just like in Tell but not so much in Losses but all three were amazing. A few things that stood out for me in Proximity was that the first two "bad guys" didn't seem to fit the role and almost felt like Losses again although they were dressed correctly this time hehe cinematography was phenomenal once again and those shots facing the sun were incredible. I was a bit lost at the end but I think this is an incredible "teaser" for a feature length film. Definitely something that can be extended to 90-minutes. I really hope that this is what Ryan had in mind because I'm sure there are people that will be willing to invest in seeing this get made. Great job Triune Films/Film Riot!!!!

There was nothing good about it, except maybe 'production quality'. The use of an expensive camera and a large crew; however, isn't really enough to salvage something so impersonal, artificial, dull, and vapid (not to be too grievous). There is a reason this guy is just making videos for RU-vid. I'd like to hear why people think this is good, apart from it looking or sounding 'cool'. One should know that I'm a pretty big film nerd though, so I recognize my taste in film is probably a few standard deviations from the norm.

M. Winston Probably because most (short)films are pointed towards normal people like me and many others, and not a movie demigod. So Ryan couldn't care less if a Hipster like you likes or not his short film, I think it's great, the quality of the shots is amazing, the recording style is unique, the color correction and sound effects were just perfect. The plot is captivating and most of the normal people like cliffhangers, so you go to IMDB's top 250 and stay away from Film Riot.

I still get chills when Todd's character takes the leg-piece and puts it on his arm. The music swells, and you get the feeling that his character is gonna take the fight to the hunters. Excellent!

I would love to see this further developed into a bigger dystopian world since we have a glorious mystery behind this short, I loved the film, the cinematography was amazing and always come home from school to watch Film Riot as you guys teach me about filmmaking, now with Indy Mogul being canceled, my resources for filmmaking videos are slowly lowering, keep it up!
