Hopefully they will take for you.The only way I can get them to work is graft a piece of wood nearly the same size as the seedlings. Good luck and another great video 😊
Very good description of grafting Alyssa. Be interesting to see how successful the grafts prove to be. Best to graft onto semi hardwood where there’s more cambian layer and in August just before the sap starts to flow in spring. Early varieties will shoot earlier. It’s important now to keep the pots under cover in a warm position. Just remember avocados are large trees. They can reach over 10 metres but importantly they need to be about 3 metres to bear a reasonable crop. In the tropical area the other trees look only a metre or so away so within 2 to 3 years the mango and longan will be shaded. I would have removed the seedling. Keep the larger trees like white sapote and avocados in the front garden or where you have more space.
