You are an artist. I have a schefflera that I made from a cutting, about 6 months ago that only grows upwards. I cut off the tip so that it sprouts several branches below, but it grows back up in the same place and no other branches sprout...
Thank you! Usually it will back bud a 2-3 nodes below the cut so sometime it is necessary to cut even lower to build up a better structure and ramifications.
Mate always love ur vids but I'm asking cld U give us a 10min video ur always clear with ur information but I wanna enjoy it longer n am sure others do to, cheers,3 in 3 minutes that's a record, thanks mate
I appreciate it! I will try to upload longer videos. It is funny that you brought this up because the original recording of this video was over 20 minutes long but I cut and sped it up since I didn't think anyone would want to hear my rambling, thoughts, analysis of the trees. Lol
Just something about a schefflera bonsai that draws me to the videos. The wild looking trunks, roots, aerial roots, and thick canopies. Just love them. Keep giving schefflera bonsai videos please. 😊
Thank you Buck. The aerial roots and wild looking trunks are also what drawn me to them. They remind me of Ficus and tropical rainforest. I have a playlist of my schefflera bonsai trees you may enjoy checking out.
@Vic The Fig Guy ......as you see I commented 2 months ago but literally watch this video every week. Love watching the before and afterwards with these 3 trees. Please do update videos on these guys. 👍
How old are these? I bought one 2 years ago and I’ve kept it on the small side but it’s not really woody like these.. like at what age do they begin this? I’m usually a succulent/desert plant kind of person not a tree person..
