When you consider in addition to emulation, it plays the PS1 library, the PSP library, and the Vita library, it plays the largest span of games across more eras than any other portable system out there. GBA plays well and N64 is coming along great, too.

VPK files are compressed (you can open them with winrar to look at the contents if you wanted to), so that long pause at the beginning when you install the VPK on your Vita is the contents of the package being uncompressed and extracted so it can be installed.

Trying this for the first time. Where did the NES folder come from? It was already on your PC. When I go to retroarch, , load NES, then go back to import content, I guess its scan directory (you say import content) select uxO, I go to scan, but there is no Rom. It says no items. What am I missing?

PSTV seems to have issues running these games however, it boots you out to the main menu whenever you select a rom to play

if you have a sd2vita installed your gonna have to copy over the roms and vpk from UMAO to UXO on your vita.

You could take your SD out of your SD2VITA and copy files straight over. That is what I did with mine. All consoles.

I cannot get my retroarch cursor to move so I go on there have everything downloaded but the cursor itself is stuck. I was going through the joypad options and clicked it off because my left joystick doesn’t work well but I may have made it where I cannot mover my cursor or do anything on retroarch. Nothing else has changed on the vita though.

I can't get the core working. No matter what core I loaded, it won't show up when I try to load the game. There are always same cores show up when I try to run the games and it doesn't matter how many cores that I loaded. Any ideas how to fix it?

When I download the rom for a game do I put the whole zip in SNES folder ? Because I unzipped it and then put it in the folder , it still worked but it has different emu options when I click the title game , so like it’ll be snes 2009 but I loaded 2010 core :/

Hi, I seem to be having issue loading up my ROMs to retroacrch ..they start loading as normal the cut out before finishing with and message saying ..search completed..but no ROMs are loaded ..this happens with every game option whether this be Game boy or Sega the issue is the same . Help 🤕

retroarch is very very temperamental. not all games run, and of those that do, most of them run extremely poorly. youre better off using a stand alone emulator.

great video but retroarch is way too fiddly and a PITA..it's much much better to D/L and install individual emulators. helps if you can read characters that are literally a pixel in size

you seems to be a nice guy but this tutorial isn't very helpful. You had to explain how to create a playlists and loading thumbnails . In this video you just could load content under menu and load the rom you want. retro arch decides automatically the core . not helpful sorry
