I haven't been able to as much lately, but I still thoroughly enjoy my 2000-based, PS5-themed custom build which was one of Sam's first custom builds...and it comes with PS1 era classics such as Gran Turismo! Can't wait to see how this more retro-style build turns out! 😁

Yeah basically making a PSP look as close to a ps1 as possible and then loading it up with ps1 games, so more like a “PS1P” 😛

@@holdenvkv8ify cdromance has a lot of psx2psp eboots that you can play if you are running CFW, there’s also a program that lets you convert ps1 disks to psp (I cover this briefly in my ps1 demo disks on psp video)

Thanks! Yeah a big part of this is reliving childhood memories 😌 At this stage I’m sticking with the psp scene but I am interested in exploring the vita in future projects :)

Okay here's my question I currently have a PSP 2000 with custom software on it I will be copying it to a 128 GB SD card my question is since the files and everything will still be on the original SD card could I potentially buy a new PSP 2000 get another SD card adapter get another 128 GB SD card and since the files and folders and everything I need would still be on the original SD card could I just copy and paste everything over to the other 128 GB SD card would it work in the new system so pretty much could I use one SD card to hack multiple PSPs

Yes and no. If the files you are copying include the Pro Update file then yes it will work, copy the contents across onto the new PSP, make sure it’s updated to the correct Official Firmware first i.e 6.61, then run the pro update. Fast recovery is only required to boot back into OFW once it’s been installed. It won’t just magically work when you copy the card across you still have to install the CFW on the new psp which is super easy in any case, then all your homebrew and games and stuff from the old psp will work just fine on the new one :) if you check out my psp street repair video on my channel it covers installing custom firmware and games and stuff on a psp from scratch (about halfway thru the video) so check that and other resources online for reference. But what if I just copied the CFW from my SD card because my SD card has everything like that

I have pro update cipl flasher and the other one and temagameboy mod

@@Finefoodandgameing don’t really need CIPL flasher that’s where bricks can happen id stick with running pro update and keeping the fast recover but make sure you are on the same official firmware as the old psp before doing the update. If in doubt just update to 6.61 OFW and download and run 6.61 Pro C2 CFW.
