it’s a special theme I found on reddit a while back that’s like a final revision of a popular theme, only works with 6.61 Pro CFW I think and you need cxmb plugin, the theme is included in my easy CFW install pack if you check the google drive link and navigate to the 6.61 theme folder it should be in there: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1S2SMGyTULsLKWqJC_p__cJOSTjFWT5tL?usp=sharing
@@ShIfTeRZz open up the software version you want and grab the PSP/GAME/PROUPDATE folder 📁 that’s all you need, seplugins and VSH get set up during clean install with default settings.
Hi everything psp. I have a question about my PSP street 1004. I have tons of games on my saved data utility, but when I try to access them, it doesn't work at all. Is there some way to transfer some fo those games to my memory card? I haven't jailbroken my PSP yet, so please keep that in mind.
Saved Data Utility is just your game saves like progress etc. not the actual games themselves. You can back up your saves to your PC via usb connection. All data is stored on your memory card already. The only thing on the internal flash memory is console firmware and settings. You can install ISO and EBOOT games onto your PSP once you have installed CFW. Otherwise you need the original UMD disk for the game you are trying to play.
@@EverythingPSPOfficial Thanks, this helped a lot. I also have another question. I want to be able to load PSP games on retroarch, but whenever I go to select the core for the games, there is no PSP option. Is that an option of PSP retorarch that there is no PSP core option, or do I have to dowlaod it somehow?
@@3t3rnalap3x5 I’m not sure sorry I’m sure google can help, I just use PPSSPP for my emulation and it works perfectly with a ton of adjustable settings
Is there a reason why you aren't using ARK-4 for the CFW? It's far more up to date and lets you use cIPL on every single model. It also has built in compatability for 6.60 plugins.
I felt that this package was suitable for the intended purpose, it's a great jumping off point for first time modders. I will be covering ARK-4 in a future video, but I think it's important to offer PRO C tutorials for those who wish to use it.
Hi, I have an psp street but when i put the charger in, the orange light doesn’t appear, what i have to do for know what the problem is? (Sorry for my english i’m from italy)
Hey, I need your help. I bought my PSP Street (E1004) back in 2014, and it was working great but i stopped using the device due to some personal reasons in 2021. Then in 2022 when i tried to use it again, it was not tuning on. I even bought new chargers for it to work but it didn't. But i didn't give up o tried to charge it from time to time, connected it to my laptop. Still no progress, I am 15 now, and i think there is some issue with the battery. How do i fix it ?
Does it show the orange charging light when you put the charger on? The battery can be replaced easily once you take off the back panel. I have a full video discussing repairs of a psp street with no power fuse on my channel that will be helpful for you
Don't know if it would be a huge sin. But playing psp games on the Vita has been a revelation. Being able to play your psp fps and tps with a second analog stick really changes games like Resistance and Syphon Filter. You can play those and practically all the other types of games like that the same way you would with a ps3 controller.
Killzone Liberation ain't very good, it's friggin great. There was a time when I was unable to play a console, and the only thing I had was a damn psp Killzone game and Resistance: Retribution on a Vita. I was genuinely shocked at the quality of those 2 titles. They got me through a tough time. Those 2 are the only psp games that I replay through every couple of years like I do with the Halo, GoW, and Uncharted series. I was for absolute sure those games were only considered good because of the system they were on and couldn't compete with real console games as far as fun is concerned. I was wrong. They can hang with the best of console games. So if you're ever in a bind and need something to enjoy, use ppsspp and play em on your phone. They're worth the effort. 9:07
I got a ps3 from a pawn shop for 50 dollars. It was an orginal ps3 model that can play ps2 games. The pawn shop said it didnt turn on so i bought it and brought it home. When i got home and plugged it in, i turned the switch on the back on and it booted up. It was on the orginal firmware from 2006. I put a game in it and the disk drive laser was broken. I bought a new disk drive and opened the ps3 (this ps3 has never been open) and there wasnt a single piece of dust in this thing. I changed the disk drive and now it works. I put a 1tb ssd in it and it plays ps1, ps2, and ps3 games. What i can tell some bought this on launch or close to lauch and the disk drive broke and then they just put it in a closet and left it there until they pawned it in. When playing the last of us, the fan doesnt even ramp up. This thing is silent.
I need help. I bought mine psp 3001 in amazon all ready came with pro vhs infinity installed but dont came with the micro stick pro duro. I bought a sd card and a memory stick pro duo adapter but dont know what to do next to get all games.
ok so it has pro already installed but you need the memory stick to go with it, download the easy install pack which version do you have 6.60 or 6.61? just copy across the ms0 folder like I showed in the video and then put your games in the ISO folder.
Hey man, I just bought a psp for the first time not too long ago been having a lot of fun emulating it and figuring out how to work it. Unfortunately I dropped it a couple days ago and now some of the pixels are dead on it. I was wondering, do you allow people to ship it to you, and do repairs on it and put the new shell on everything. If so Where can I reach out to you?
I just bought a psp for the first time, I am having loads of fun understanding how to emulate games and everything. I unfortunately dropped my psp and acouple of the pixels are dead. I was wondering if you do custom psp builds if so where can I get in contact with you. Keep up the great content.
Thanks smitty, sorry to hear about your screen :( yes I do builds you can see some of my previous work on the channel, it’s pretty easy to replace the screen if you are patient and have the right tools, what model do you have? I have pulled apart 2000, 3000 and Street models for repair or custom work on the channel so far and 1000 is coming in an upcoming project soon. You can get a replacement screen for relatively cheap on AliExpress 🙏 thanks for you comment!
@@EverythingPSPOfficial i have the 3000 model. and yeah ive seen some of the work im just worried im gonna mess something up you know. But if i could ship it out to you or how ever you do it i would get other custom stuff too.
@@smittyeagerman6546 simply mail it to me, pay for the parts, and all labour is included free of charge. You can find my contact details on my website EverythingPSP.co.nz
The buttons are actuated by the membrane seen below the surface in the video, it is a big sticker that send signals through the ribbon cable to the mobo. Check The ribbon cable is seated properly and the buttons are free from obstruction. If you are still having trouble then a new button pad membrane will be required and these can really only be found by getting a cheap broken psp street and salvaging the required parts from it. You can get replacement membranes online but I think only for 1000,2000,3000 series I could be mistaken but that’s probably what you need.
No way! 24-ish max, more like 15-20 frames on average to be honest it's not perfect but just a neat showcase really! There might be newer versions of the emulator that run more efficiently than when this video was published.
It’s more the fact that a Sony PSP is even capable of doing this even remotely. that is the point of what I am showing, the PSP doesn’t have a lot of ram or clock speed so it’s not really any contest saying your smartphone has more processing power than a PSP like I’d hope it does lol 😝
Thanks Blake it was awesome having you visit and hang out with me helped to save me from the monotony and depression of being stuck here all alone, and thanks for the donation of the PSP Street and the 3000, I will be back in the studio to create more content soon :D
fairly sure i saw you on reddit the other day haha get better soon ! I can imagine PSPs come into their own when spending time recovering in the hospital.
Yep that was me! I’m getting there slowly, yes it was a godsend the PSP truly shines in moments where you are away from home, hospital, airport, car breakdown, camping trip, etc. thanks for your kind comment loving the support from the PSP community it’s kept me going! ❤️
Before I discuss, my ps3 has been running daily since this video dropped and it’s still going strong! 💪 but… NOPE!!! I would use a pea sized drop in the middle and let the clamping force spread it around that’s the official Sony way but i decided to use this method because I didn’t know better at the time and wanted to ensure it was caked up with paste for all time. There are many many ways to lay paste described online and it’s a big debate. You only need enough to fill imperfections in the material anyway so mine waa probably too much.
To be honest I don’t know if it’s possible in the psp version but check in the controls menu for a possible answer. I know the bots can but not about the player
@@EverythingPSPOfficial I double checked my game you have to start a new save profile then it will ask for you to choose control scheme , chose scheme 4 , easier to play on ppsspp because then you can map your controller buttons get the hacked version of the game to increase bots to 16 or 32 and have fun
