PS2, PS3, and PS4 are much more realistic. PS1 might have bad graphics, bad lighting, and cheezy songs but the gameplay is much more epic and songs make me hype up. Kids and the teenagers this day will never taste the epicness of old skool addiction. 90s FTW hands down!
Arthur Gabriel No I feel the same way. The PS2 to PS3 was such a big leap. You went from having blocky low texture character models in gta sa to more realistic character models in Gta 4 and gta 5 just improved on that. I'm honestly surprised that gta 5 could even run on PS3 or games like the last of us or uncharted as well. Just shows that the PS3 was really powerful for its time.

I am sorry but there are lots of aspects of a game that make it awesome. gameplay, interesting story, characters, also graphics too, the game should be immersive to take you inside that world and many other aspects. Oh and btw consoles don't make games better, it's games that make consoles better than other.

its so fascinatingly amazing how game consoles have evolved over the years from the first Atari 2600 to the ps4 and Xbox one with wireless controls, motion tracking capability, and voice recognition. Who knew we would reach this day and age where that kind of technology exists.

Mr.Armenia yeah but the jump from PS2 to blue pray HD PS3 it's a major jump compared to PS3 to PS4. If they made the first PS4 4K in the first place, I wouldn't be saying this. Nevertheless, PS4s graphics is better than all of them clearly, I'm just talking about the jump from PS2 to 3 being greater than 3 to 4.
all of them are good.PS1 has classic games that are fun to play,ps2 has the best games[san andreas,r&c 2grand turismo 4],ps3 has some good games and good graphics and ps4 has the best graphics and the newest games.[my opinion]
I could not even possibly imagine this video would be so popular guys! Thank you so much! I will be happy to make part 2 but the problem is that lots of gameplay styles or genres have started on ps2 not on ps1 so it won't be a comparison between all 4 consoles. Gran Turismo 5 looks a lot better than driveclub. Actually the ps3 and xbox 360 still have great graphics, maybe the next generation of consoles will be great, but this generation is a fraud.

It looks alot better in singleplayer mod. Just check the latest 15 minute gameplay which is from singleplayer.
to be honest, it's not a fair assessment to compare ps3 and ps4 games seeing as how both consoles are sharing games and the ps4 is just at the very beginning of it's life cycle.
most impressive for its time was ps2 IMO games like FFX, MGS2 and GTA3 really blew me away when i first saw them. then with ps3 and ps4 we are seeing diminishing returns. Nothing on PS4 has been really breathtaking so far. They look like Ps3 games in 1080p
Don't see that much of a big jump from PS3 to PS4 graphics wise. I mean, I see how PS4 is more visually appealing, but its not enough for me to really give a shit about the games or whatever.

I truly don't understand you guys. Every single one of you says.. ps1 is the best.. ps2 is the best.. this is not games comparison.. this video is about comparing graphics across generations of playstation consoles and of course ps4 is the best.. it would be really sad otherwise.
PS4 and Xbox One graphics are the worst to launch ever. It just looks like last gen graphics at its highest with extra lighting. Even the Wii U did a better job (even though some of you might not call it next gen, but it was made same time as PS4 and Xbone loser so it counts). But hey gaming companies want to sell things unfinished to get money quick, then release the rest as paid DLC and plus graphics for gaming is not that crazy like it used to be, companies spends 99% of the time on graphics and 1% on the rest. Thats why majority of the good games don't have realistic graphics like majority of Nintendo games and companies should spend more time on other things in the game instead of the graphics
