@KevinCali24 Well, sorry if I failed to be more specific. Tire failure is the result of a hard crash with the wall, that's it. Never experienced mechanical trouble other than those caused by impact. With automatic gear box I guess blowing the engine will never happen. Probably engine problems is not programmed in this game?
@KevinCali24 Long races at Monaco are tiring, hard to keep concentration for so long. In fact most of the time I have to abandon with tyre failure lol. The really hard aspect of long races in Monaco are the backmarkers. I can keep the lead (struggling) for 15 or 20 laps, but then the backmarkers would ruin all my previous work,..
@pateli2008 how does the tire failure work? i wondered about that and blown engines etc. i think i have had gearbox problems before. surprised i dont blow engines with how much i rev to redline heh.
Kevin C Saying that it is possible to blow up an engine, I remember playing as Alesi in Australia 100% lead the whole way. And I did remember saying to myself I should back off, believe it or not I crossed the line for the last lap and boom goes my engine, I was shocked that it was possible on this game, by time I was about to click on the replay the game took me back to the menu
