It was way more interesting hearing Max and Kenny explain car stuff than I thought. Like trying to explain the “what wins on Sunday sells on Monday” concept to Simmons and why some cars have hella inflated value. It’s surprising to me because I knew he owned a 240SX but I always assumed it was just a regular car to him. Dude knows the culture tho (Also we need either a sequel or remake to Auto Modellista. That is one of the most beautiful racing games I’ve ever seen. Only thing I’d want more is MVC2 on the PS4)
Simple way to explain all this to Simmons. Nearly every car manufacturer has racing history. Both Toyota and Honda started in racing. They benefit from sponcors and winning races.
Aw shit, the only game my brother and I could agree to play together. We'd take turns doing the career championships and endurance races. We'd race each other sometimes but our skills were so competitive that it would never end. We didn't figure out until adulthood that ramping up horsepower doesn't make the car better. But it's boring to just upgrade the tires, gearbox, suspension, and lighten it. Damn Simmons dearth of racing knowledge hurts.
this game was sick... and you could make super fast cars fly, which showed how well designed the physics were. (usually fast cars fly and crash, but in this the invisible walls mean you jus fly)
One of the first PS2 games i played when i was 6. I bought this beautiful gem myself almost a couple of years ago and got to relive my childhood and...... I suck at this game now... But i still play it Lol (Also I gotten the European version of this game which in all honesty to me, is the BEST version of Gran Turismo 3. Better music in that game too)
