This is so cool. I remember turning my playstation on years ago to check a save file and let it update from 9.0 to whatever. A few weeks later I was interested in jailbreaking it, realised what I'd done and was gutted. So cool to see it can now be done. Is there any chance you can show off what can be done with a jailbroken ps4 as well other than free games and dlcs? Got to be honest I have a pc now so free shit isn't really an issue. Figure there still has to be some fun to be had though.

It's too complicated to load the kexploit. I don't have pc in the same room, where my ps4 is. What would you think, is it possible later that this kernel exploit can be loaded from http hosted servers? Or I will need pc/sbc to load the pppwn exploit?

I am on firmware 11.50/11.02 - What can I do? The short answer is that if you’re on a firmware above 11.00, then PPPwn isn’t for you, and you’ll most likely have to wait for another Jailbreak (which could be years down the road) With that being said, If you are on a firmware above 11.00, in particular if you are on firmware 11.02, there might be a chance for you to go back to Firmware 11.00. The PS4 holds one “backup” copy of your previous firmware in case an update goes poorly, and it is possible, with a lot of soldering effort, to “revert” your console to that firmware’s backup. Modded Warfare has the most comprehensive video tutorial on the topic, and I’ve covered his video here. If you’re up to the task, that is your only solution (please note that in my opinion this is the point where you should seriously consider buying a secondary PS4 at this point, one that’s hackable, unless you’re in this for the PS4 downgrade learning experience). Keep in mind that the technique will only let you go back to the Firmware that was previously installed on your console. If you went directly from 11.00 to 11.50, good for you. But if you went from 11.00 to 11.02, then to 11.50, this will only let you go back to 11.02 and is not useful in the context of PPPwn. Hi, i have a question about the 9.00. I followed your ps4 complete guide from around 2 3 months ago, but i dont have the "enable game patch plugin" option. I dont know what i could do to fix this, but the only option under "plugin settings" is enable plugin loader. Any help would be great, thanks in advance

Each time we restart the console do we need to repeat this process? I mean to run the goldhen? After jailbroken im thinking how not to repeat the extra steps to load the goldhen. And the usb memory causes a crash again if it stays on the console?

Hey, so I'm having an issue I downgraded somehow from 11.02 to 11.00 and the exploit worked last night even video chatted with a few people. Now the exploit is off and it isn't letting me do it again from pppwn from the PC... And it's actually letting the PS4 update.. obviously I cancel it but yeah worked til the PS4 shut off... Firmware is still 11.00 and exploit not working pppwn anymore... "EDIT" SOMEHOW IT WORKED AGAIN? IM SO FN CONFUSED. LMFAO IMA WAIT FOR GOLDHEN!!!

if I connect the PS4 directly to the PC via an ethernet cable the console detects it as if it were an internet connection and the internet stops working, even if I put the hotspot on my mobile phone the same thing happens, how can I connect it, I tried with a usb ethernet adapter, the console goes online if I do the normal configuration but if I put PPPoe it doesn't work

Is this for a permanent jailbreak, or will it need to be reloaded any time there is a power down/restart? On 11, I mean. My PS4 is still on 9.00.
