It worked, took me a while because I had a stripped screw and I had to get around that but once I did, it was easy on out! Thanks so much man this only costed me 60 cents for the washers since I’m returning the screwdriver tomorrow! I used 1/4 size washers that I got from Home Depot. Easy effective fix. I’m backing up all my files on to a usb right now in case this ever happens again!

@@gaijindando6726 Doesn't take long . Once you have put some kind of washer or anything to keep the plate back in its original position, the PS4 will run normally.

This worked for me, I just took 4 smaller washers I had laying around and put them under the bolt, size doesn’t really matter, you just need something under there to apply more pressure.

Ive added washers and it hasn't done anything. My problem is that while dissembling the console I accidentally pulled the connector attached to the motherboard. I soldered it back on and then that's when it gave me the blod. It will turn on them instantly turn right back off. Could it but a power supply issue in my case?

it seems that the two washers on each side would lift up the pressure I would recommend to put something in the center of the clip so it forces pressure down harder and use no washers where screws go

Not necessarily. I thought the same but didn't work so ended up placing it on both sides and worked. Very strange but atleast got my console working again.

Mine was fixed, finally. But, soon as i start the game it started to have an overheating problem. I tried to clean it out like the way you did it in your other video (Not further down to the motherboard and the APU tho) and it still loud and shuts off after overheating. It went smoother after i first cleaned it but still shuts off after 5 mins. How do i fix this? Should i clean the motherboard as well? P.S My PS4 Heatsink is not as dirty as yours it isn't block by layer of dusts.
