Why won't it make it to the PS4? The people working on this game are highly skilled professionals. Every single game with so called "AAA next-gen graphics" are nothing but illusions. Everything from special effects to scene lighting invloves some form of optical illusion. Do you really think that todays hardware can simulate this amount of real-life graphic detail? Not a chance!

Even still, PC wouldn't look like that. Not for a while anyways. Unless its some sort of exploration game maybe. The moment you start throwing things like A.I. and all the scripts start running its going to have to take a hit to start running on any decent systems. That and if you're talking full games, between time and money being factors, much of 3D modeling is about taking shortcuts. Trying to make things look like something while using the least amount of resources you can. Coming up with clever tricks to fake realism. That will always be a thing. It will be a long long time before anyone sees games that look like this.

Enbs for skyrim and fallout along with the witcher 3 and ark survival evolved are extremely close to that kind of fidelity so its not as far off as you think

Nah, AI and interactive elements of games are processed entirely differently, though most games do most of it on the GPU. Adding such things would not take a performance hit as they are calculated on the CPU, whereas the visuals are calculated on the GPU.

The video I saw was not a teaser or trailer like the link you sent me, it was more of a tutorial showing how it was made. It didn't take long to make too which is why the comments were filled with "it's impossible to make a full game out of this," or "it's going to be laggy and have low frame rate." It's pretty unforgettable once you've seen it. I literally watched the guy place rocks and trees. Wish I could find it for you.
