For whoever is still having issues even after trying all the above steps and not being able to connect. I fixed the problem by installing the app PS Remote Play and I was able to login into my console and go into settings to forget the old controller devices then link them back. This is in case you are unable to connect any of your controllers! Hope it helps! 💜
So jus did this not to be funny but dead serious . Use a controller before tryna pair it 1. Go to system 2. Devices 3.Bluetooth 4. Hold the share button first on the new controller and slightly after that hold to power button to pair it Via~Bluetooth 5. Select the one u see pop up and it should be ready to rename n use

I've tried all of these steps several times, except the last one. Cause i only got 1 controller. Is there any other way to enter the ps4 system? I've tried connect my computer USB mouse to the PS4 but it doesn't seems to work either. The controller's bluetooth seems to work cause my PC and my phone finds it when i turn on sync mode on controller. ^_^

So I've tried every single way i could find to fix my problem, but nothing has worked. I got a new controller and that didn't work either. Now the new controller only blinks white once like it's trying to connect, then turns back off. My friend thought it might be the console, so he factory reset it, but still no luck. Any help would be appreciated
I have an issue where my controller will be connected and all good, but if it turns off at all, when i turn it on the lights solid white and it won't register any buttons on my PS4. I'm starting to get irritated, cause it works fine at first and then I'm screwed and have to restart the PS4 again to reconnect it. It does this if i don't start the PS4 using the controller as well. I've reset both controller, reset the PS4, unplugged it and everything. Idk what's going on, this started happening earlier this year, i have no idea why. Edit: i found a fix, i reset my PS4 and it fixed the issues.
Same things is happening to me, yet no one has made videos on this, I think it’s an internal issue, maybe to do with the hard drive, or the systems hardware, it’s defiantly the PS4 because my PS4 freezes, there is no sound but everything is moving like it’s on, like a box animation when it pulses, or people will be running in games, but my wifi completely disappears, my controller won’t even connect via charging cable, and it won’t reconnect when I try to turn it back on, I’m downloading a game update atm and it’s been 2 hours out of the 18 minutes it would have originally taken it to download and it keeps restarting the update, now I’m screwed and cant play any of my games
@@BallistikaGames could be, this ps4 is refurbished, used to be 1TB but it’s now 500 Gigs? Thinking someone took the original hard drive out and resold it. Either that or it’s was taken out and resold with a downgrade 😕
Hello, mine did not work, my controller blinks white and won't connect even did everything except for the remote one. my ps4 is outdated and cant connect to the internet. what bugs me is my controller works perfectly fine when used in safe mode but if regular boot it keeps blinking white light even its wired connected. can you help me, i watched many videos already and non of it works

We always be scam paper. If you don’t take the scam off too what country are you from Omar? I’ll sue you cause my controller right now break down. I don’t fix it and I try to split it up.
If you follow the last trick, you have to pair your controller to your phone then do the remote play. To access your ps4 through your phone. Press forget all the other controllers then finally press share a the home buttons to make it available to Bluetooth. At least that’s what helped me and I hope it does to you as well.
Starting to think my PS4 hates me. Hadn't turned it on in a while, so when I turned it on it needed an update. Went to install the update, but I currently don't have WiFi, mobile data only. So then it took me so a screen with an error code SU-30746-0, and the options press X to continue, O to cancel, only my controller no longer works! Tried safe mode with a USB cable that definitely works, no luck.
I was using my PS4 controller on my PS3 and my PS4 the light doesn't show charging but when I press it it lights up for a few seconds and I done everything so I think it needs to have a battery replacement

Last bit finally worked on one but not the other. They’re both knock off controllers. Had for a while. Took over Xmas to have more controllers at a family members house. Now they both weren’t working. Tried so much. At least got one working but not the other. 😖 any ideas?
Mine isn't connecting at all. I turn on the ps4 & it instantly doesn't work & blinks when I turn it on. I've done it with it connected, turned on from the button, poked the pin hole, unplugged my ps4... nothing is working. It happens the most when I try to download new games I just bought
Guys listen I fixed it all u gotta do is use your controller before and go to devices and Bluetooth devices and hot share and power on your new then you need to go tap on your new controller icon with your old controller then hit power mode on your new one and it will connect
After restoring the parameters on my ps4, impossible to reconnect the controller, just bought an official cable same. I have two controllers with the same issue. I am going crazy since I can not access anything after the restoration...
Pulling the power cable from back of ps4 and connecting it back I was able to connect my controller without cable. This is a controller I had used before
This is as useful as the five million other things out there that people say which dont work, I have two consoles and 4 controllers i synced console a controllers to console b so that we could grind borderlands 3 without worrying about console battery life, did this many times with my ps3s but I now can't connect the original controllers from console a back to console a and there is no actual directive anywhere to fix this
Held down off button on ps4 itself, when it shut down I held down the ps button on my controller until the ps4 restarted. Controller stopped flashing and connected immediately
Lol all I had to do is reset the console and once it was off, I hold down the PlayStation controller button for 10 seconds, and the PlayStation turned on, and the controller also turned on 👍🏻
Help seriously nothing is working I’ve done everything there is and there is only so many things to do. Please help my controller is not connecting and this is probably the dumbest tech I’ve ever dealt with.
What worked for me was switching to a different micro usb cable. Good enough to charge controllers but not good enough to sync a new controller apparently.
literally nothing is working, can’t use remote play because my ps4 is not activated as primary, my controller won’t connect to the playstation no matter what i do, this happened after i connected my controller to my pc and my pc unplugged on accident, I went to sleep after and woke up trying to turn on my ps4 and my controller wouldn’t connect no matter what i do and i’m debating wether i should buy a new controller
thank you, I just picked the bluetooth connection mode in the controller, then by using my other controller I go back to the bluetooth device setting page and agreed to connect the new controller
I've tried this but my controller is still not connecting, and it is still flashing white light. But I tried this on a friend's console, and it worked.
both my controllers stopped working and i have no way to delete controllers from Bluetooth, so when i reset everything and plug them back in and hit the ps button it blinks white once and then just back to orange
Tried all these steps and still none of my 3 controllers will stop blinking. They can turn the ps4 on and then blink repeatedly, then die. All plugged in, all been reset
The only solution is to connect another controller delete the controller that you wanna use plug it in reset it with the pin and then click the ps button it should connect

My controllers won't connect at all in any way. When i turn on my PlayStation it says "serious error has occured select okay to restart system" but i cant connect either of my controllers to do it
