Could be damage to the fan connector. Or worse a fault with the fan circuit. Hard to say really. Yes assume any "NEW" fan is a copy. The only way to know it's genuine is to take one from a donor console.
I replaced my fan but didnt have the heat paste will that make my ps4 just turn off my fan works great now that i replaced it put it all back together and it came on for about five mins and then just shut off plz help
I cant find any video related to my problem?? I changed the thermal compound, i cleaned the whole thing and i tested my ps4’s by not putting its cover back on and tried running it without the covers, i inserted the disc and when i launched the game the fan didn’t even spin at all, its not even moving.
@@UberMicroRepairs could be, i tried spinning it with hands but its not doing anything? I just wanna make sure its the fan that is heating my console? I recently replaced my hard drive too.
@@christianmartinz7176 Should be fine with that. The IPA is just to desolve the thermal paste. As long as the APU die and copper heatsink are spotless before applying new compound you'll be fine.
@@UberMicroRepairs Ight bro i fixed my ps4 but it’s still kinda loud bro how do I fix that ? I cleaned everything from top to bottom. At fist the fan wasn’t moving it was like stuck but I removed the bottom cover and when the ps4 was on i forced move the fan and it took a couple of mins to start spinning again but I it is still kinda loud :( 😔
